I can't get enough!!! Dave, you have taught me so much! My family and I are so thankful for you and Herb and the whole Pensado's Place team. God Bless!
Congratulations Herb & Dave and thank you for driving towards being bigger and better but always genuine and down to earth. I've learnt so much from your shows.
I live in Poland. I dont have any money really, but I'm really hungry for knowledge. What You Dave are doing is so beneficial to me. So many great interviews, tons of informations. This is really great, thank You from the deep of my heart!
Just wana say big ups to H & D , congrats on the new stage, thank you for all the careers that you have boosted :D Keep up the great work, here's to the next phase of Pensado's Place!
Love this Show. Always Great. I thought the discussion about recording the kit in that room with two mics being the way he likes to do it ..and then the shots of DG with 1200 mics around him amusing! I know different tracks need different approaches but still funny!!
@15:50 33, live in your parents house cuz u can't make money just producing bands that really aren't so successful.. holy shit man.. is "working" in the music industry one of the most stressful jobs in the world or what? there's a lot of success stories but at the same time.. you just never know... i'm going through the same shit.. somehow i don't feel so bad when the CEO of vintage king shared that about himself...
Herb ur loosing weight? Looks good man keep it up! Dave, ur always good anyways - good luck with the new studio, these hands on studio series is hot! Keep it up!
Brilliant Episode, don't agree with the paper plate analogy though, records like pet sounds were contemporary symphonies much like a china plate you wouldn't throw it away.
If you watched all of these shows you see that none of the engineers make any judgements about the music, its like a science project, there's no good or bad just stuff that needs working on. You won't get far in the modern music industry restricting yourself to just working on music you like...
This is gold, people. Nowhere else are you really going to get this in-depth with total pros, and be able to listen in like this. Indispensable.
10 years later this is still pure gold. Would love to see more studio tours!

These two episodes are the first I have seen and wow a perfect intro to a great show!
This was really something special. Pensado's Place is a weekly slice of music/audio heaven!
Love the improved production value, makes an already great show even better!
Thanks guys for the motivating insight and tour of Fairfax. I get inspired every show.
Excellent couple of videos here. Thanks.
I would have not imagine that the Vintage King guys were son young and actually very humble. Cool episode!
Congrats on the new studio guys!!! Great episode!!
Studio I'm a student at has an API 2488 and it's a split console too!!!

We need a part 3. What about studio B? Not a great room but great records have been done there. I miss that place. That's where I started

Fantastic videos, so rewarding! Andrew seems stoned tho :D
Great
There are no nearfields. The big speakers are in the soffit above the console.
Which program would you say gives you the best clarity and quality in mastering? Isotope or T Racks?

Get danger mouse on one of these things!!!
All cool guys, as always. The background noise is rather annoying.
Recording is the art of capture not the science of perfect.
What happens when the song sucks..how do you mix it then?!!!??
You guys are Talking too much.. Where is the 'Studio Tour'??? 😤
