When I visited London recently, after watching your videos, I had tea at The Dorchester (exquisite--I felt like a fairy princess), The Milestone Hotel (so cozy, and I loved the painting of Wimbledon), and (my very favorite) The Café Royal--a fantastic, magical tea with all the vibes of some of my favorite writers including Oscar Wilde and Virginia Woolf. I hope to get back to London soon! Thank you for your videos!

I stumbled across your videos recently so I have been watching your backlog. That afternoon tea looked so disappointing. I’ve had afternoon tea once, on my trip to London in 2022 at Fortnum, so I appreciate your reviews as I hope to return to London sometime in 2025.

Always so disappointing when a meal out is disappointing. I have heard a lot about Betty’s tea room. Have you ever been. It is home of Fat Rascals. Maybe you can visit sometime I have heard mixed reviews.
If you mean Betty's Tea Room in York, I've been twice over the past two years. It's a very nice tea but not overwhelming. The first time I was there I was seated on the main floor at the window and it was lovely; the second upstairs in the tea room which is kind of drab. But the food and service was good. Nice to visit when in Yorkshire.

What keeps us subscribers coming back every time is your unfailing forthrightness! You let us come along for all sorts of adventures, and this time it was not so sweet, but you made it through, and we were able to check this place out, so at least you were the only one to lose out financially for a tea that was not worth it. (Having a larger group get the servers' attention, while a lone diner is ignored, is just inexcusable.) We won't even go over the inadequate menu. I hope the next venue shines by comparison!
Eevening Dallas the green outfit looks so lovely on you. The afternoon tea at Royal Horseguards was poor to say the least! a rip off! Wont be going there! You should have refused to pay the bill. Poor cold sandwiches, wet cakes, cold scones very poor. such a shame.
