Goggins is correct about the year deal. I started last may and just recently starting to see a real change. To be honest I started with just the few pushups i could do in the room at a psychiatric hospital i was locked up in for suicidal thoughts. Afterwards i kept training nearly every single day and got a job for the first time in a while. Now im doing 5 plus miles hiking and an hour at the gym everyday and starting the pacific crest trail in April. Thank God for Goggins he really helped me tremendously and even though i already read it ill take his book wirh me in my pack on the trail. Idc about the added weight. Stay hard

I love this comparison. I'm an x Tate fan, but a new Goggins fan, I used them both for motivation at a crucial time in my life.. Tate is all about $ and that gets annoying. $ is nice, don't get me wrong, but I don't find motivation in the pursuit of $. Strength and improving myself that's all I want. Plus it's hard to ignore how Tate thinks of women as a possession not equal.

I weighed 150 kg, got pissed off and lost 65 kg in 1,5 years, stayed in that weight for 3-4 months, went to a wedding and started to eat a tiny bit... completely let go entirely, 1,5 years later now I weigh 138 kg... started a week ago to go back to 85 kg and gonna fucking stay there!
When you hit rock bottom so many times, cheated death so many time's, an the answer has been there. No matter what anyone says you are a winner. Stay focused on the moment, mind set an the human body are so amazing. Positive thoughts will out weight the negative.
