I want to paint mine. But it's quite a time investment. Agreed on the lines. I do not care for them either. You are right about every day! Cannot wait to see your track all finished.

One thing I found while painting mine.....do not leave the tape on until everything is dry. Take it off right away, it comes off much easier..

I have about 500 feet to do maybe more lol going to do it in sections.

Shouldn't you tape the rails before you sand?
I did that because my tracks have grit from the scenery on rails so it just depends on your preference
