  • What to expect when you drive your car onto the ferry from Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver to Departure Bay in Nanaimo British Columbia, Canada. Today I'm taking you on a spectacular ferry ride from Vancouver to Vancouver Island on the Queen of Cowichan. I'll show you what it's like to board as we drive onto the ferry deck, we'll have a quick look around the ferry and I'll show you the fantastic views from the deck. I'll be telling you information that you will find very helpful and you can check out the links to all the places I talked about right here in my description.

As a lifetime resident of Vancouver Island who has taken BC Ferries many times, I don’t know why I watched this video but it was very informative! One small note- You MUST book 3-5 days in advance in you are reserving due to tons of traffic if you are travelling in the summer or any holiday week/weekend

Hehe. I carried the pizza oven and a lot of kitchen stuff into the ship during it´s building time at the shipyard in Flensburg/ Germany. Was a great time working there. Hope the pizza taste good!
With best regards from lockdown in Germany
