    Hi Cole I'm from Providence Rhode Island. What bait and lure you guys recommend to me to crapie and largemouth bass?

    • @COLE_and_JAY
      @COLE_and_JAY  Год назад +1

      We love using crappie magnet jigs for crappie but they also catch bass. Our favorite bass lure is a chatterbait!

    Long, long ago when I fished, almost exclusively for bream, the only bait my son and I used was crickets. Hands down the best bream bait out there!
    And those smaller fish fried whole are excellent eating! We never filleted any bream!😊

    Checking in from Washington state, my question is why do you throw back the good fish, like the bass you just caught, I've seen you throw back good size catfish, I figure if it's a keeper, keep it, it's more for the table.

      I don’t really like to keep bass over 3lbs. We prefer to eat them when they are a little smaller. This body of water didn’t seem to have a huge population of bass so it seemed right to release it. In general we prefer to release the biggest fish we catch

    Cole have you ever heard of fry hards,it's smaller fish that's fried hard enough that you can eat 95% of the entire fish,bones and all,as you were throwing the small fish back I had memories of myself throwing small fish back and someone that was fishing close to me at the lake noticed that I was releasing the smaller fish and asked if they could get them because they'd make the fish into fry hards...

    I know this is a lot of work, but if I were in your situation I would catch for the local food bank. I have done that a couple of times but I’m limited to how man fish I can catch. This way the fish do not go to waste and you get to make content. Just a suggestion.
