Id assume its a heavy enough trigger that you wont hit it accidentally, but id be careful with side opening automatics regardless. At least OTFs have a failsafe of sorts

Why would you need one? Realistically I can thumb open my blade as fast as almost any self opener. I don't have a problem with people having knives because I have multiple dozens of knives from swords to micros. Most of them stay pit away because I have a few really functional knives that I carry other than that, the rest are for special circumstances or for show.
Those are cool, But, when you have a huge collection of knives, as I do, you can forget where the hidden button is. So when I put one of those away for a long spell, I put a taped dot on the button, you will also save bandaids too.

I personally have never cracked a screen from inadvertently making that mistake but I know girls that have due to them wearing skintight jeans😁 That seems to be the "phobia" trending in the comments but I seriously doubt that the conditions required for that to open in your pocket would align perfectly resulting in a "pocket firing" and of course there's pounds worth of prevention here that is up to the owner to avoid.
In CA if you used that for self defense in order to save your own life and the police found out and they will that it’s a switch blade. The radical D.A. Will charge you much worse then the suspect.
They made one of these a while back for buck. I think it's called a buck double strike or something like that. It was an awesome blade. I had one for the longest time
I honestly can't tell the difference in speed shen deploying a knife like this and anormla knife with studs or thumb hole. Who actually cares about that 0.5 seconds saved.
It’s cool, I have one. But I almost never carry it anymore because the grips hiding the button are rubber so it’s a pain to get in and out of your pocket with the pocket clip, also since your pulling pretty hard to get it out the thumb stud catches frequently on the way out opening the blade a little
Pro-Tech makes a beautiful secret auto called the Magic BR-1 "Whiskers," I have it in CF but it's kind of a dud. If there's any inward pressure on the bolsters when actuating it results in a lack luster deployment.
Omg I bought the same knife from a tool truck and I was watching videos and literally stumbled upon this clip now I know it's an auto knife 🔥🔥 thanks for the tip
I had a knife with a similar switch. Looked just like a normal folder with a thumb stud. Didn't have anything on the box. The retailer never said anything, and I damn near had a mishap when i deserved the switch by accident in the car. 😂

Pretty cool thanks for posting
Is there any risk of the blade popping out in pocket? What if you have other things with it like change or keys?

Yes happens to me all the time with spring knives. Lots have locks, but I feel like with all those steps, I might as well have a nonassisted folder

Cool knife. Have to try it out. Keep your videos coming.

You have knives that I straight up never knew existed that's so fucking cool
Saw this an hour ago, went straight to cobratec and bought one. Thanks!🎉
That would DEFINITELY cut my thing off
LOL
Every female knife nut I've ever met was crazy.
She is crazy , crazy hot .
I like that you show knives in a reasonable price range. Keep the vids coming.
A most reasonable display at reasonable prices…❤
Very cool knife. You have a great collection
I found my type. Blonde girls with ponytail braids, in form fitting sweaters with an affinity for sharp things.
Which is actually pretty close to a perfect woman, at least for some of us.
That’s not a ponytail those are braids
@@Watermln Hmm. I was not aware there was a difference. Hair is not really my thing.

Another one that comes to mind is the Protech Magic/Whiskers.
First I have seen you cover this price point. Glad to see you do so.
Perfect!👌
Thank you from de Canary Islands, Spain.

I look so forward to your delightful knife reviews, thank you
Bought it. Love it! Thanks Melissa for the info
Accidental release in pants pocket=Good bye ding a ling
The sound is amazing.
I wonder how many times that punching bag has been stabbed by crazy knife girl. . .
I got recommended your shorts last night but I've seen way more knives I never even knew existed than I'd like to admit
Pretty cool indeed. Def adding this to the collection

Put it on your back pocket then sit down 😂😂
❤️❤️❤️ Ms. Melissa!
That definitely goes in the "I don't have this knife to anybody" category but really cool for a collection or personal EDC.

Her smile shows she's passionate about her work and she's gorgeous ❤
Reasonably priced too.
I've had ones like that and ones that the scale would slide to the side then the blade would release. Mostly just flea market knives.
I have 2 of these and i love them!
You find the coolest knives I'm so jealous of your life. Your awesome thank you again. My knife collection is growing fast this year lol
Should have a safe pressure required to open, like trigger pull. Love this knife, simple and durable.
I just want to know how many times this lady has cut her hands or fingers like no band-Aids, ever
I really like that. Excellent idea.
Ur gonna love it in Bulgaria. When I was 15 I bought a giant machete for 10$ from a random street vendor I still have it and it's still pretty useful
imagine keeping this in your back pocket , then you sit down 🗡

I got a tuxedo version which doesn’t seem to have that problem maybe they fixed it in later versions
Thats sick! Now i want one of those just for fun, I ordered my first auto online today, I am trying out a mircotech magnacut ultratech.
The old Microtech Chameleon had similar mechanism.
I prefer OTF knives, you have full control over the blade.

You are the queen of knives!
Yeah I tried to order 5 different autos from this company in black or gray and they are always sold out. Very disappointing.
