As someone who runs a business I can’t wait (!) to finally pass it on to someone else and just focus on the creative process, but making sure I’m not gonna be thrown out of what I’ve built, so for that a good partnership contract is important and I have no doubt they signed a fair one, which ensures her security and gives her freedom to explore and just focus on what she loves the most: music. Like that, she’s isn’t really _stuck_ with anything, nor is responsible for anyone but herself, so I find this to be the less stressful path for sure - and still highly profitable (not that they need it at this point thankfully 🥰). Besides, TBL doesn't really stick w/ the mainstream kpop formula, it has a western style in it. So until she thinks & feels that it'd be finally time for her to move to another larger, western label, i'd still support rose and her music.

Rose knows what she needs and if she had spent the past year getting a company established, the two new songs wouldn’t even exist! APT and Number One Girl are such great songs and she is rightly considered to be at the top of the list of female singers. She has always been a singer/songwriter and her hard work (as fans complained she was lazy) plus smart marketing with the release of two huge back to back hits is fantastic. Compared to Blackpink’s big production videos and some of the other members solo ventures, the Number One Girl MV is just Rose and her beautiful voice, that she directed & it’s like an Anthem. Looking forward to her whole album…
It's a very logical decision. This works for her as well as the black label. She probably has the ability to do as much as she wants, as fast as she wants. It's all good.
