This is a great idea. It`s really time when motorists ought to "THINK RURAL" and all the things that could make rural community roads a potential danger. Motorbikers need to take note that the roads could be regularly littered with a variety of road surface problems, and also livestock and machinery sometimes later in evening and nightime when roads are considered empty. This should be accepted as Rural Communities begging to be listened to by motorists who think they are entitled to have roads free of obstacles. It`s not the case !! There are also children living in these communities !!
So what we have, if we are being fair, is farmers not securing their boundaries, having unsecure loads and covering the roads with slippy mud/manure/diesel etc. The other thing is as you slow down on a motorcycle, you become less stable so the swathes of mud in middle of the road will have more of a chance of removing you from control of your motorcycle. Not only that, the person in the car is less likely to see you as you slow down and then they hit you.
I think I'd crash trying to read what it said on the sheep... and is there some irony in the fact that the hay bail sign warning about concealed entrances isn't actually visible until the tractor has pulled out of the concealed entrance? This is a very clever idea though. Hope it works!
ok, so here is the story. I was driving on a country road near Skegness, I have passed a bicycle with no lights, no high visibility jacket, nothing!!! I was very lucky not to have hit him on a bene. I stopped, called the local police station, they said someone is on their way. I followed the bicycle discretly for another good 10 minutes, no one arrived, the police just ingored the call...
Whereas I was riding in daylight, with my lights on, wearing hi-vis and in a bike lane and I still got ran over. Crushed a disc in my back. Driver didn't even get a warning. However, do 34mph in a 30 zone and you're fined £100 and a menace to society. #safetymatters
How about spending the money from ads and billboards on actual roadsigns and safety improvements. This is a government funded money drain. Just like all awareness campaigns.

So instead of building fences around their land to keep livestock off the roads, farmers should turn their livestock into walking hazard signs...
Building fences doesn't always work when some inconsiderate walkers leave gates open.

This came up as an advert before another video. I had to click on it and like it. Best advert ever, made me laugh.

One standing in the middle of the road ''Kill Me''
Hope the 'sharp bend ahead' sheep doesn't walk off to..y'know..after the bend.
That'd be like the 'Mind your Head' sign *after* you bounce your bonce off said low article.
But... what happens when the sheep move?
Were the 'spray paints' safe for animals...
+Vishal Sawant Yep, they usually use the paints to tag them anyway. Especially fine with sheep as the coat is later sheared anyway and sold as wool.
Of course, sheep are tagged all the time around here. You can see some very colourful things in a herd.
Very cute!
what's this song called?
Actual genius!
Great idea. Spray sheep for baffled motorists to stare whilst going 50mph
Nice 😊
Seems like a good idea until a freedom of information request will probably reveal it cost a couple of hundred thousand pounds to spray-paint a sheep.
Dan Harris sheep are spray-painted anyway for identification so it's just extra they have to stock up on.
people get into an automobile and become totally selfish self centred persons
ignorant of their actions and effect on others and their environment

How about you spend that money you wasted on spray paint and actually try and keep 'your hazards' off the public roads
