Great question! We can recommend always prep items, depending on what you’re making, before applying rhinestones. For example: When creating a bling cup and you paint before adding rhinestones … 1. Sand cup with sandpaper to remove any shiny finishes. 2. Wipe down with at least 70% alcohol 3. Paint with acrylic paint or spray paint 4. Seal paint with Modpodge sealant 5. Apply rhinestones Additionally, Krystal Glaze forms a flexible, transparent, elastic film once dry, making it suitable for various climates and heat exposure, with a temperature tolerance of -35℃ to 93℃ (200℉). After curing for 48 hours, it is waterproof but can degrade with prolonged water immersion. We hope this helps.
