The cruel truth is that if they are returned to the forest, or dumped at one of the parks, it will be horrible for them. They have no idea how to forage. They have no idea how to be monkeys. They don't understand the social skills or the heirarchy which stepping outside of can get you quickly killed. When they are placed there by the human, they are not part of the troop. At best they will be run off. At worst and most likely they will be surrounded and attacked by the troop where they will be bitten and scratched and ripped and killed Ina horrible violent way. The only way for the monkey to be released to the through a legitimate rescue and rehab organization. Look up RUclipss from the Vervet Monkey Foundation for the long process.
