Good review, however there was no mention of setting up Port Forwarding on the router. It's needed to get it running and is a Plug and PRAY device. The user guide is very vague and the support is not great. I'm not in the US. I bought 2 of these to create an audio bridge and so far no success after hours trying different methods to get it going. It's driving me nuts! It should have been very easy to set up......but?
@@BrianAkaBear Hello, two weeks ago I disconnected my Zerhex Bridge G1 device from the router and then tried to reconnect yesterday, though my device is showing "it is online on the front panel" - indicating through a blue led is keeping continuously on , but on portal it is showing "Not online". I have tried by changing different networks, routers and cables as well. I also tried to remove the device from my account and then re-added to my account again, Firmware reset also done, but still not showing online. No one is replying me from Zerhex Support Team whenever I tried to contact them through email or website contact form. Please help me to fix the problem if possible.
As per my experience the Zerhex Bridge G1 is not a good device as a transmitter to broadcast on Shoutcast/IceCast. It gets Frequently being disconnected. I have not received a buffer disk with the device and the device is not working properly since purchased in 2018. Initially technical support was ok but now they do not reply my emails. I have tried to contact support team through website, but no response from there too. However we have an another broadcasting device Deva DB91-Tx for live broadcast. It is excellent.
BY FAR THE BEST AUDIO BROADCASTING DEVICE EVER CREATED!!!
