I didn’t realise as a kid but now I realise it’s super bizarre for them to not have them, I think there is a mod for it though. I can’t wait for the day some incredible modder makes a mod to let you zoom out more, it’s my one serious issue with the game, like a lot of old titles it makes me feel claustrophobic.

The game has been simplified back to its origin. The concepts are not difficult, the gameplay is fun if you're the sort of person who enjoys to build things and just watch them go. I don't know how you could possibly lose on easiest difficulty, the game is VERY easy once you know what you are doing.

I think its suppose to be as his life went on he got buildings and such. If you look he has a mustache and looks a bit older near the end of the video. SECOND THEORY. Its suppose to be that the game brings you back to when it was the golden age of locomotives. Either way there is symbolism to the intro.
The memory of how great this intro and game was hit me and I'm so glad this is on RUclips! Awesome game!!
Plus the fact that the soundtrack just fits to the theme of railroading starting in Wild West (Even though Europe isn't wild West)
I LOVED this game as a kid but I could never find out how to get the tenders & it drove me CRAZY to not have them.

I hope that in the near future someone will make Sid Meier's Railroads with Unreal Engine 5 . The Best Railroad game ever .
