very similar to the kuk sul that I practice. same order that we have. I like the way you handle the arm at the end on number 3. I feel like i never have much control the way I do it.
Depends on what you're trying to do. If you're trying to dislocate a shoulder, do it the way he does it. If you're trying to safely take someone down to the mat straight back, put his elbow up by his ear and push with your left and pull down with your right but be sure you get low. That's the nice thing: there are variations...if you're allowed to do them by your instructor, of course.
While learning proper technique your partner is supposed to be compliant, and we dont go full speed/force. We dont want to tear rotator cuffs or break arms during training. There are many more techniques learned later in the curriculum that are based on these basic techniques where compliance is no longer an issue
