With so many different kinds of foods you eat and not knowing what is causing the allergic reactions, you might want to carry an EpiPen. Norma, your health is most important! Look into this before it happens again. I understand what your work is, but, do not put what you do before your health!
Autoimmune disease is nothing to sleep on. Please find a PCP and they refer to a specialist. Your health is your wealth. Take care.
Ask for a Rx for epi pens to carry with you just in case. Pay attention to what you are drinking or eating to figure it out. It could be a specific alcohol. I don't think it's shellfish because you eat that regularly. But definitely get tested ASAP. I have Hashimotos too and it shouldn't be causing allergic reactions like that.
Hi norma, my wife has hashimoto's and she told me to tell you that gluten is a trigger for the hives and other symptoms and that you definitely should get with a doctor to refer you to an endocrinologist. And by the way we loves your videos and hope you feel better ❤❤❤❤

HASHIMOTO'S disease can wreak havoc on your immune system the older you get. Follow your friends' advice and make an appointment with an endocrinologist asap.
With all due respect to your MD from google university those OTC will not save you if you have a serious anaphylactic reaction. Please get to a specialist and get an allergy test done NOW so you can learn to avoid your triggers. Be safe, be healthy and keep being awesome Norma!!

I live outside Vegas but think maybe if you call the Health Department they could help. They may be able to give you a panel test there.
This happens to me too!! My skin looks just like that. For me it's brought on from gluten. 9:31

Hi Norma and exactly the same happened to me after an event where they served canapés. Drove me crazy trying to work out why but in the end I was told to take a tablet when first symptoms started. You feel the area warm a little and I keep these tabs with me. In Australia they are called LORATADINE and are an over the counter medication here but work every time and for me I now only have a reaction about once every 6 months and basically goes in an hour after the tablet. I spent lots on calamine lotion etc but these tablets work. Good luck and don’t worry or try to work out what causes it. Doctors will tell you to take tests etc etc but total waste so the tabs might have a different name there so google the name. X PS it is hives and auto immune people are more susceptible to the crap in our foods. John.
Just a FYI Norma, Loratadine... in North America it's sold under the brand name Claritin. Costco Pharmacy sells the generic version too. Sometimes recommended over Benadryl as it is a newer medication used to treat allergies and hives
Definitely get an allergy test the problem with allergies is they get worse every time meaning that if you have a reaction again to whatever it was it'll be worse. I adore you be better love videos

YOu need to get a referral for a Allergist and get tested on Foods. When i have a reaction I take 2 Benadryl and 1 Pepcid. This is what the urgent care Dr told me to take.

The Hydrocortisone cream is an affordable & effective prevention to itching. I always make sure to have it around for mosquito 🦟 bites.

Allegra has a Hives allergy pill that lasts 24 hours. Until you can see a doctor, it works. The same thing happened to me a month ago, and I've never had hives before, ever. Feel better.

Hi Norma, next time see a DR. like you said you don’t want your throat to lock or anything seriously happening to you…… Probably needed a shot for that allergic reaction towards what you had eaten for dinner raw fish maybe to much mercury who knows just be safe out there big Fan here I work for Kaiser Hospital here in Los Angeles California and my wife is a Nurse. Norma dear, when you have a reaction like that it's totally important to take pics and upload them to your primary care doc. Then call the 24-hour advice nurse, tell them your symptoms and have them look at the pictures. It's good you have a friend who's a doc, and you should send him pics too. That he said you should call your primary care doc right away, is all the more reason to call the advice nurse when your primary doc is not on duty. As you know, infections are nothing to take lightly.
FWIW, my brother died at age 56 from complications due to an infection. It likely wouldn't have happened if he had gone to the doctor when the nurse set him up for an urgent care appointment on a Sunday. The next day, he was hospitalized with sepsis. So next time, don't go to sleep without making sure you don't need to be examined right away. Going to the emergency department sucks and can be expensive. But if you need to go, it's totally worth it! You're still young and in good health, but please don't take it for granted!!! Infections are simple if you treat them right away. But left to fester on their own, they can turn deadly. Sorry to be dramatic, but it would be terrible if something bad happened to you, especially if it was easily preventable. Hope you feel better soon and figure out what caused it, so you can avoid it in the future.

Hi Norma, I’m a nurse. Please don’t keep medications in your car. The heat reduces its effectiveness over time. Most meds need to be kept at room temperature. Also, if your throat is tingling or tight, you need an Epi-Pen. It could save your life.
I hope the doctor finds out what is causing it and have a cure for it.

I've become allergic to red#40 food dye, which is in like almost everything? And I use the 10% Hydrocortisone cream too!🙂
In addition, for the next time take 1 T. of Apple Cider vinegar in a glass of water. Just to make sure whatever bad is still there flushes out through your urine!👌

I know you don’t know me but I e had the exact same thing happen a couple times . The whole body like yours but the worst was under arms and between legs and between toes and fingers . I ended up in emergency room because my throat closed. I did lots of tests and couldn’t find the answer and it was driving me crazy, but then I noticed it always started with a headache first . Come to find out I was taking excedrine which worked great for headaches but it had ibuprofen in it. I’m highly allergic to NSAIDS. It stands for non steroidal anti inflammatory. Once I stopped with all excedrine , advil , Motrin and anything that had Ibuprofen it never came back. Not saying that’s what your issue is, but doesn’t hurt to check it out . If you take Motrin or advil switch to Tylenol and see if the problem goes away. Wishing you the best and pray you never have it again . Your videos make me smile and I hope you stay around a long time . 😊

Take the time to see a new physician. RUclipsrs have a great deal of stress . Not only do you physically work hard putting in long days , but you have the added stress of running a small business and coming up with new content. My son has a channel and it’s a 24/7 grind . Sometimes hives are a side effect/reaction to medications - specifically certain antibiotics. It also can take up to 10 days to 2 weeks after taking antibiotics before the hives appear. It can be hard to trace back if you are only looking back 24 hrs. Definitely work with your Dr to try and identify the source.
I hope your health improves. Have you taken inventory of what you eat because foods is the root all of our illnesses. Have you heard of Keto diet? All carbs turn into sugar. And sugar causes inflammation. Even veggies are carbs. Too much sugar in blood stream causes your insulin to spike. That's why on keto they stress low low carbs, but more fats and protein.
My daughter had Hashimoto really bad but she became carnivore she had not had that over 3 years she listens to Dr. Berry on RUclips. God bless you

Zyrtec works better than Allegra and Benadryl. You can take up to 4 Zyrtec per day. 2 in the morning and another 2 at night. It also does not make you drowsy. Hope you feel better soon. ❤
Look into the fish you ate. I have a shellfish allergy, but still eat it in small quantities.
I have the same allergies and symptoms mine is to nuts, And when your throat starts tingling like that and itching, it's a sign that your throat could possibly close, which makes it hard to breathe. Next time you have an allergic reaction like that, you should definitely go straight to the urgent Care or the emergency room, depending on the severity you could need an EpiPen. You also may want to consider going to get an allergy test.

on the avocado front. After I split the avocado i put the part with the seed down on my cutting board and hit the knife into it there and then use the side of the counter or cutting board to pop it off. It is too easy to slip, just a tiny bit off center and the knife can roll past the seed and into your hand or finger. I'd rather be safe than pretend im a pro.
98% rubbing alcohol from target brand W/ cotton rounds . Pretty much that will kill anything 🤙🏽
If you're having a reaction, I recommend putting socks on your hands before you sleep so that you can't scratch!
It's most likely from the seafood that you ate. I used to eat seafood all the time and no issues but when I turned 38 out of nowhere seafood gave me bad allergies like you. I am 42 now but you can definitely get it as you get older.
My wife had Hashimoto (had her thyroid radiated to address the issue) but she has also had similar allergies in the past. She's only had 3-4 episodes but we think its from consuming a certain shellfish, and then undergoing aerobic activity (e.g. - running or working out). She'd break out in hives and would have to pop Benadryl. It would eventually resolve a day later. She can normally eat shellfish fine but we noticed that pattern. Her Mother and Sister do have more severe shellfish allergies.
Please stop drinking alcohol and eating sushi until you know what is causing your severe hives. Not something to mess with. Love your channel and wish you well

As a person with bad food allergies, get tested, get an epi pen and take Benadryl at the very first sign… it will help a lot. Be careful out there! I’ve even gotten a shot in my butt for allergies… they give you steroids 😅 also Benadryl cream helps
Talk to Doc and ask him for a "Scratch Test"! This is what the Doctor uses to see what you are allergic to...
Could have been the raw fish you ate. Also when you have one autoimmune disease you could develop another one there are so many others
You need an epipen. Benadryl does not work for the reaction you had. I would bet you are allergic to lobster.

The allergy could be from anything.
Lotion you use will help.
If you've been around bed mites, some noxema on your arms and legs at night will help. It should calm the itching.
Mites don't like the smell.
Use a small vacuum for your bed sheets and pillow, if you got it from somewhere else.
Some people are allergic to certain detergents.
Maybe a food allergy.
Some people are allergic to peanut oil, in some foods.

Casinos r filthy with the smoke, Belagio 1 of the worst, low ceilings! It's old and the curtains collect dust and smoke. Definitely not luxury to be exposed to those carcinogens! They should be smoke free! The hottest it's ever been there in Vegas, bad air quality plus the dust and ragweed! My family member had hives too! Stay where it's cool like an ocean breeze not around all the polluted indoor casinos! Be careful could be life threatening! Happens with age u may start developing food allergies also.
