Krka Waterfalls - Croatia Motorhome Tour

- European Motorhome Tour day 18/40. Krka and Plitvice are two of the most popular nature attractions in Croatia. We'd done Plitvice so just had to see Krka. Both are very worthy of a visit but quite different, we reveal in the video which we think is the best!
We stay at Camp Slapovi Krke which was €26 it looks quite basic in the video but it had everything we needed and is ideally situated with its 10 minute walk to the entrance of Krka.
The walk down from the entrance is quite steep but you can purchase an entrance with the bus ride included. If we went again we would prebook the 4 hour boat trip to the north of Krka where you can take a hike to more waterfalls. The 2 hour trip we did wasn't very eventful and actually only lasted about 1 hour 30 min.
Walking around the waterfalls on the south side with plenty of photo stops only takes 1-2 hours so you'll need to take one of the boat rides to fill your day.

We loved visiting Croatia earlier this year, especially Krka. I think the town you refer to as ‘Trigor’ is ‘Trogir’. ☺️

Looks amazing there. The water looks pure - is swimming banned at Plitvice & Krka?
Yes, unfortunately swimming is no longer allowed at either of them, Cheers...Andy&Michelle
@@ExtremeMotorhomingAdventures On Plitvice it was never allowed to swim, and on Krka in recent years they forbid it for a good reason - people were affecting nature way too much (all kind of lotions on ppl and than they went into the water, leaving all those chemicals in the water, as one of the reasons). Those eco systems are very fragile and good that they got protected. Plenty of rivers, lakes and Adriatic sea for swimming...

How does Croatia now from Jan 1st becoming part of the EU Schengen area now affect your plans?
Hi, we’re not at the 90 day away stage at the moment with working still. But it would have been a very convenient break for in the future. We’re still hoping that things may change regarding Brexit. Spain being the ones that are hoping to negotiate the rules I think I read somewhere? 🤔 Thanks for watching Michelle and Andy
