A girl, abandoned under a tree at a young age, is taken in by a couple and a child. In my mind, the child is a boy, the same age as her. Their house isn't far away from where she's abandoned, and, after years of living with this lovely family and becoming a part of it, she feels lost. Alone. Like she's not herself. As if she's changing. Like her adopted family thinks that she should act just like them. Except for the boy. He knows. They often speak alone about everything; they became best friends. Still, her adopted parents wanted her to be the same as them. She always knew she was different, but she felt like she was losing herself. So, she went back to the tree. She found herself. Each time she feels like she's losing herself, she goes to her secret hiding place with her best friend or alone- under the tree at the top of the hill.
Okay I'll join in on this imagine scenerios. A girl, struggling with stress of making her parents proud, and being a perfectionist. Any time she could, she'd run off to a tree in the woods usually at 7:00AM/PM. At the tree she met a bird, it was splashed in the color dark purple, mysterious black, and pure white. She'd talk to it about her problems, until the bird was caught dead on the ground with a bullet carved in its head. The girl cried a waterfall, petting the precious bird. The bird was a great listener, one that never judged her, but what the girl didn't know, was that the bird was like her. The bird had baby birds to take care of, like how the girl had to take care of her studies. The bird's colors represented the girl. A pure heart who wanted her parents' trust, but she hid away herself. The white is her pure heart, the strive for trust is for purple sincs purple maybe means to trust and stay for a long time, and the black for her hiding herself away. The bird seemed to be her escape, but she soon realized she was an escape aswell. She opened up. With all this, the girl took care of the baby birds, and released them towards the wild, so that they can find their escape.

I know it's been a year since this was uploaded and I don't think anyone would read this, but oh well. Days passed, as the boy would come back, every time to ask if she wanted to be friends. Eventually, she gave in, and they became best friends. They made a promise to never leave each other. Two years later, the boy runs to their secret place -the place they met- and told her that he was moving. She was devastated by the news, and the boy ran, not wanting to see her reaction since it was hard enough for him to tell her the news. Four years later, when they were 14, the boy moves back to his hometown, and makes new friends, he forgot about the girl. But then, he soon realizes that his friends were fake, and felt an urge to go to a tree on a hill, so he did. There, he saw a girl about his age laying down on the grass under the tree. "Is something wrong?" He'd ask the girl. Upon hearing the familiar voice, the girl would sit up, and look at the boy saying "I come here everyday to watch the clouds and listen to the birds, but now, I'm waiting for my best friend to come back..." Hearing the response, memories suddenly came back to the boy, as they stared at each other for a second. They recognized each other, and became very happy. I remember..I had a "friend" who only saw me as a friend. We would sit on top of this hill, under this tree, and share our dreams. Let's say we started developing feelings for each other and showed our true selves around one another. Now, I'm at a new school, new plans, and I've been searching about who I am. The girl's ivory white dress swished in the air, as she ran up the tumbling hills, past the wild bushes. Her dress got torn in the bushes, but she didn't spare a thought as she reached the house at the top of the hill. At the top, stood a handsome young man.
"_____, what took you so long?" He asked her, gently. The girl huffed.
"My parents, they want me to marry a stranger. They're delusional if they think I'm actually going to do it, Troy." The girl scoffed. She shot him a smile that didn't reach her eyes, before rushing past him to the marvelous garden. "Oh, new plants! How do you have the time to keep planting these?" The boy looked away, sheepishly.
"I have lots of spare time." He said. The girl rolled her eyes.
"Well duh, you're immortal. Time literally stops here, too." The girl paused. "But, doesn't it ever get lonely here?..." The boy sighed.
"Yes, indeed it does, but there are benefits. I'm free."
The girl sighed, before she sat down on the grass, staring at the sky.
"It's like you live in a time bubble. As soon as I enter the forest, everything becomes perfect. Like, earlier it was raining!" She exclaimed. "Boy, would I wish to be here with you all the time." The boy's eyes widened.
"Really? What about your family?" The girl's ocean eyes darkened, as she lowered her head, a curtain of hair shielding her face.
"They don't care about me...Can I please stay?" She begged. The boy looked unsure. Suddenly, it hit the girl. He didn't want her here.
"If you don't want me here, you can just tell me, ya know? I didn't have to waste my time." She snapped, her expression darkening, as she stood up. The boy was instantly by her side, grasping her wrist.
"Of course I do, I'd finally be happy with you. But you know what that means, you'll be immortal. Eternity is a long time." He mumbled. The girl's gaze softened.
"Troy, I'm sure. I want this. *Let's make our escape.*" She murmured, as she touched her forehead with his. He instantly relaxed at her touch. His gaze was passionate.
"Very well. This may hurt, a bit." He replied, his voice gentle. Before she could even react, he removed his glove, revealing the infinity symbol on his hand.
His index finger glowed, as he traced an identical symbol on her hand. *"I love you."*
The girl instantly winced at the burning pain on her hand, as the feeling of a snake crawled up her arm. When she opened her eyes, she saw the same insignia he had, on her hand.
*"I love you too."*
They were finally bounded together.
