Oh 😀 so happy
Don’t forget as soon as your baby comes out look into his eyes and welcome him: God bless how exciting and wonderful
Doris Cruz best advice ever 💕
Omg is it time Liz ?? Can't wait !! Hope you & hubby have a healthy baby !!
It’s so amazing to see you sooo excited. I swear there is nothing comparable to the feeling of being a first time mom and preparing for your baby. Soak in every second when he gets here, it goes by sooo fast 💙
I love that your out of breathe & I say that lovingly! I just had my daughter 3 months and I remember allll of this!!! Take everything you feel you will need regardless of what anyone says and I pray and will that you have a safe and routine delivery
I love how first time mom's take a butt load of stuff and they don't even use half of it lol. And if you are breast feeding the doctors will not give the baby a pacifier. And they wouldn't want you to give him the one you have packed due to nipple confusion. And please wear the hospital gowns. You are going to bleed alot so you might as well ruin the hospital gowns. Plus the gown you wear has to be super loose, the nurses constantly come in checked you down there press on your belly, check the skin glue where your incision is,all that. Also.. take up your bags when the baby is born and you have your own room. If you take it while checking in there is a list full of stuff you have to sign for if you have that specific item packed. And you seem to have alot of stuff. Good luck with everything. Can't wait to see him. Oh and have the biggest dinner day before! Because you won't get to eat for almost a whole day when he's born. And when they say walk, you must walk! I started walking 8 hours after I had mine. You heal faster.
Christina Rodriguez I just had a baby 4 weeks ago and everyone (nurses, doctors, therapists) at the hospital kept asking me if I had a pacifier for him because they wanted to give him one.
True
@@soniav5991 my hospital gives pacifiers
Couldn’t ignore you’re dog. Soooo cute
You may want tho consider taking more than 1 burp cloths. They are multi purpose and if you don't want to use any of the hospital items. Some new borns spit up constantly and others don't. My rule is that you can over pack but be prepared, you can always bring it home again. I think you'll be happy to have more than one. I'm 64 had 1 child now 2 grandchildren and we were always looking for the burp cloths. Good luck sweetheart.
Mayra Moore sounds like a great idea!
I had a c section and all the clothes i packed i didnt even use . Just wore the hospital gown for the time i was there and the clothes i left in because you will hardly be able to move around due to the pain of recovery. Trying to look cute was the last thing on my mind
Cindy Martinez Cabrera Totally agree. The pain makes you forget about everything lol.
You’re absolutely correct. I’ve had both types of delivery and a c-section will make have you more bed bound.
Cindy Martinez Cabrera agree. Use the hospital gowns unless you’re taking a picture. You’re just going to bleed on your pretty ones. I did. 😔
I agree . You can totally tell first time moms lol. It would be interesting to watch a video about what she actually used
Jessica Ulibarri so true I over packed with my first, but with my second I just took one small bag for me and the baby....I use the gowns they provided and the onies for the baby. I didn't care about the makeup, I ust wanted to rest and cuddle with my baby.
May the Lord bless you and your baby and also your husband have a bless delivery
yesenia villanueva amen!
Shanetta J may the Lord bless you as well God is awesome all the time
🙏🙏🙏❤️
I had a great experience with my c section. I didn’t feel like I needed pain killers, and I was able to get up and do laps around the maternity floor shortly after. I put on a cute pair of slippers that I bought, but when I stood up for the first time, they were covered in blood because it dripped down the catheter (no such thing as TMI between moms). I wore flip flops the entire time.
I also did my makeup every morning. I was in the hospital for 3 nights. I shared a recovery room with another mom, so I think the sleeping mask is a great idea because they brought her in around 3am and turned all the lights on. She also made phone calls all night, so I would recommend ear plugs if you’ll be sharing a room. I wish I brought my iPad with a movie or music for those early hours before visitors could come. My husband was only allowed to be there during visiting hours.
The back of my hair was a disaster from the hospital bed. My hair brush stayed beside me.
I’d also recommend bringing your own water bottle to refill as necessary. I was so thirsty after birth and hydration is super important when breastfeeding!
Wishing you the very best!! I am so excited for you!
I cannot believe the time has flown so quickly!! I had a scheduled c-section last year so try and walk as much as you can once they give you the ok. It will help with the healing process
Best thing to stop clothes from rubbing against your Caesarian stitches is to put a feminine pad over the incision, then cover it with high waisted underwear. Don’t remove the cover from the sticky part, just place the pad horizontally over the scar as a good buffer/padding. I did this for my 2 Caesarians and it worked a treat, no matter what kind of clothes I wanted to wear, I new the incision was protected.
All the best for you and bubba.
Girl I don't think you forgot anything! Wishing you so many blessings for a healthy and safe delivery! My kids are 26 and 20 years old, so you sharing your journey has brought back so many happy memories! Relish in anything you want to do to make your experience happy! Can't wait to meet your little one! TFS
I did a full face of makeup for pictures the day after I had my baby! Lol. The nurse said she did the same so that made me feel better haha
Sydnie Drummond me too!
I would reconsider the pajamas. After a c section you will bleed & have to clean yourself frequently, it will only be harder. Plus you will have your iv & epidural in for at least 24 hrs so get something that is looser & easy to move in. I wore a nursing bra & a robe after the initial 24 hrs. Oh & You will want to wear those panties they provide bcus your stomach will swell & it will hurt to put your own under wear on. Every hospital is different but I wasn't allowed to put any compression on after my c section. Actually it hurt to wear anything tight.
Dana-Anne yes! I was just about to post how messy things can get after a c section.
Yes! Get moo-moos !
I didnt have a c section but it was just as messy! I ruined everything. I actually brought nothing to the hospital they provided everything even clothes for my baby.
And yes the makeup is all preference! I did a full “simple” face for delivery & kept up everyday I was there to keep myself feeling great! So no judgment ! I did a lip stain 2 applications lasted me all day. Mascara worked out fine for me, not messy! A good B.B. cream instead of foundation just felt less complicated & Rose water was a must!
I would recommend you calling your hospital & ask what they provide for you & baby. I remember with my first baby I totally over packed. I'd also recommend taking a pair of slippers aside from the sandals, a light robe & just 1-2 gowns, gum, a pillow & blanket for your husband, and a comb or brush. I took some really cute pjs with my first son & they made me change into the hospital gown, but like you said do what makes you feel comfortable. Good luck to you guys!
Unfortunately the nurses will be checking your vitals every few hours so the eye covers may not be needed. The oversized shirts probably won’t be needed either only because you can’t shower right after a c-section. So you will be in your hospital gown for the most part. Of course I’m basing this off of my personal experience. Wishing you a safe delivery.
Fuzzy socks were a DREAM for me while at the hospital! & I had those same nursing bras off amazon, they were not the most comfortable so I sized up an they worked out great ! 😊
I packed my bag when I reached 37weeks and so excited to have him on my due date and oh my gosh the longest 9months of my life..and I have him on Christmas day the best Christmas gift ever. 12-25-17 and he is over due by 5 days. Congrats to you and good luck Liz😘
I’m 36w with #5! Had my bags packed for a few weeks lol. I’ve been going back and forth adding and taking away. I only bring a going home outfit for baby and that’s it. My hospital provides everything else! So excited for you ❤️❤️
Beauty by AnaBel J aww wishing you a safe delivery beautiful!
Make sure to pack a cozy robe. I just recently had a csection and some days while in the hospital thats all I wanted to wear. Congrats and best of luck to you!
Congratulation Liz. I hope you and you baby boy are doing fine. Looking forward to hearing the story of your labour. I was really surprised to see that you were finally holding him, just a day after I watched this video. Congratulations to new parents x
I can’t believe in just a couple weeks (possibly just a few days) your baby will be here 😭😭😍💙 this is such an exciting, beautiful, blessing. i’m so excited and happy for you
Pillows are your best friends after a c-section Liz! When coughing or sneezing laughing even throwing up (sometimes anesthesia makes you nauseous) pressing it against your stomach helps wonders. With that being said I wish you a healthy baby and delivery and a very speedy recovery enjoy every cuddle they grow too fast. Ps I’m really hoping you do a labor and delivery story time video of course when you are ready. Sending you lots of love ❤️
Yay!!! How exiting Liz! Love how organized you are. I've had 2 c-sections... 1st one was almost 10 years ago. First tip I have is send the baby to sleep at the nursery. Don't feel like you need to have him with you...you need any little bit of sleep & rest you can get. Nurses will come in and out of your room the first night and it's the FRICKING WORST!!! Start Mentally preparing yourself for no sleep that night so you don't wanna kill any of them lol like I wanted to. Lol having the baby there just makes it extra overwhelming. Also, they usually keep the babies almost naked just with their hospital "gowns" for easy access to them. Don't take too many clothes for him to wear in the hospital as you probably won't use them. Instead of that I would take snacks lol
My biggest tips would be to buy cheap Hanes cotton underwear thats 2-3 sizes bigger than your usual size....That you won't mind throwing out. Your body will be swollen and even your prego chones will be too tight.
Also, wear double menstrual pads at once to make it larger and avoid messes. The hospitals usually only give the extra long ones for the 1st day after surgery and then they only provide reg sized ones.
I'm sure all experiences are different, but for me getting up the next day suckkkeedd! Don't get scared if blood gushes out like in a horror movie when you first get up. No one warned me and it was horrible lol Also an other thing no one warned me about was sneezing or coughing! Yikesss it feels like your insides fall out of your body! (Pon presión en tu abdomen con una almohada antes de estornudar para evitar mucho dolor) i wish you the besssttt of luck and can't wait to see pictures of you with your little man! 😘
Maria Rojas this is so true I was just about to post that pants and cozy socks will get ruined. First time I stood up and blood gushed out of me I made a mess! Uh yeah nothing cute about a c-section. My first one was natural birth and that was easy. My last two were c-section people don’t realize it’s major surgery... you’ve given good advice!
Yes i agree every bit with Maria!! 😊
Maria Rojas yes these are really good tips, it's the reality of it all lol
Love the tips, especially the Hanes undies tip. I wear a size 5 for my fancy panties, and bought Hanes size 9 white cottons - the full-sized ones. Buy lots of them, you'll be so glad you did! 💕
yes plz get the boy shorts from hanes 👍
For you lip balm and for baby a journal for that pen, LOL to write him all your feelings during your first few days also for Dad some Champagne
3 gowns is perfect! I took 3 to mine and ended up using 2. Take all your "extras" because comfort is key after birth. I would recommend having a pouch with your essentials that you can reach for on the bedside tray i.e. chapstick, tissue, nipple cream, sleep mask, etc.
Been watching for years! So excited to see you guys embark on this new journey of parenthood. You're such an inspiration 💗 praying for a healthy delivery
I gave birth 4 1/2 months ago to my son and had a natural delivery. Honestly, most of the clothes I packed in my bag I didn’t end up using. Only my hospital gown and a change of clothes to go home. I was in pain so I didn’t want to move much. (Pain as in soreness) Since you’re having a C-section, you might be in a lot of pain 😔 I didn’t get to sleep at all because doctors and nurses kept coming in and out of the room to measure baby and also check my vitals. Actually, come to think of it, I didn’t sleep for almost two days because of my contractions. They’re so painful. Rest up! Cause you’re gonna need it! Good luck Liz!
Arunie Italiano everything you said was very true I only take my going home clothes and the baby clothes ..
Yes I was just thinking this. I was like I love you but girl you won’t need 85% of that stuff. Going home clothes, toiletries, slides, robe, and maybe a little more. But she has a lot !
And don’t bother bringing too much makeup. You will not even care. I just had eyelash extensions on and had my brow pencil so I don’t look that bad lol I really only got up to wash my face, brush my teeth, and go to the restroom. You’re going to be way too exhausted from sleep deprivation to even care haha but yes, a couple baby sleepers, baby beanie, blanket, mittens, toiletries, cozy robe, socks, and a towel if you’re planning to shower. Also, breastfeeding pillow is great, and snacks cause you will be starving after delivery!
How exciting!!! May God bless you with a quick delivery and a quick recovery!! Hold your baby as often as you can, they grow really quickly! ❤
Liz, your well prepared that's good. Do as you like, its your pictures to look back on, its ok if you want to look presentable
its better to be prepared than not prepared!! Your going to be an awesome mommy and both of you will make great parents!!!! Your lil one will be here before we know it, am so happy for you two. I pray for his safe arrival and your c-section will go good. Cant wait to meet him!!!!! Take care💖
I love that you're so organized, giving me great ideas for when my time comes. So happy for you and your husband, many blessings to you all and can't wait to see your beautiful baby boy 😍
When your done everything can you do a house tour? You house is very beautiful.
Mariya .s yesssss!
Wow! It seems like the time flew by I can not believe it's time already 😊how exciting good luck to you & your husband with everything I know you will be fine god bless you all & I'm looking forward to seeing you with your bundle of joy! Tfs
Wishing you nothing but the best!!!!! Your going to be an amazing MOTHER!!!!!
I'm so excited for you. I'm slowly packing my bag as well.
Eagerly waiting for this one
I can’t wait to see your baby.
Best thing I found to have for myself at the hospital was the tena adult nappies, They are so comfy and help with all the bleeding. A loose gown, sandals that you can wear in the shower. Very loose clothing and comfy shoes to leave the hospital in. Breastfeeding bra and breastpads. You pretty much have everything and more. Hope you have a smooth delivery and everything goes well for you all 💗
I’m so excited for you and your family! I wore makeup for my first baby and everyone thought I was crazy. Fast forward 17 years later and I’m so glad I can look back at those pictures without cringing. Quick tip...babies get hotter faster than they get cold so you probably won’t need clothes that are too warm for him.
I didn't have a c section and based on videos I packed a travel bag full of stuff. I didn't need anything but my make up, my brush and a going home outfit each. It's messy and like others said nurses and doctors check on you and baby so much they need easy access. The only thing I should have had where those big always pads the extra big ones. Because the hospital ones were horrible, as was the underwear. And yes snacks you will need plenty. I was always starving being awake so much. Good luck and enjoy the excitement. It is a miracle.
The time is almost near Liz! Everything seems really thought out! Wishing you the best labor and fast recovery! ❤️you!
Hey I recommend the belly bandit for the first days the wrap from the hospital was exactly what I needed however when I got home I switched to the belly nadir and it helped me heal from a cSection so much faster after a csectuon I liked having a wrap over my scar good luck
Yes, do what makes you happy! I wish I would have worn makeup after my babies were born. Nothing wrong with wanting to look "cute". Years later you don't want to look back at your pictures and say OMG! Love your hospital gowns. ❤️. Enjoy your journey into motherhood!
Praying for your safe delivery.. God bless!
I didnt see pads, you will need thick, long ones when you get home, the hospital will give you some. I pray that you have a safe, delivery.
Tinkertoll do you need pads for a c -section ?
Yes you definitely do!! I bled like crazy after mine.
Amber Wilder oh wow , I really never thought about it ..lol
I used the huge hospital pads for a month after my c section.
Definitely need pads!
It’s so good to be prepared. You’re all set!
Wow some great tips in these comments! U getting alot of love! Good luck, praying for safe delivery!
Omg!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!! You are sooo beautiful!! I wish I had 1/4 of your beautiful taste in fashion and decor!!!!!
For my c-sections I was in a hospital for 3 days so what I did I leave extra pijamas in the house in a separate area and in a bag ready to go in case you have to stay at the hospital longer and someone of your family or your husband have to get them from home. Everything is going to be great prayers and love from Ohio.
I would highly recommend taking Depends to the hospital and having them home afterwards. You’re going to bleed after your c section and I found that depends kept me clean and I didn’t leak over my nightgown or underwear! The hospital will give you mean underwear and giant pads but the depends were SO much easier! This was by far the best tip someone gave me!
Also, be prepared and have a BACKUP option if you plan to breast feed! Sometimes breastfeeding can take a while to establish (latching issues or milk coming in slow) meaning you’re going to have one hangry baby! The hospital will have a pump you can use. Get your personal pump ready (sterilize parts and set up) BEFORE you go to the hospital. Don’t wait until you are discharged before trying to figure out how it works. Nothing wrong with having a tin of formula at home just in case!
By mean underwear I meant mesh underwear!!
I packed for 3 days with my c-sec and ended up there for a week because of an infection. I suggest bringing a few more clothing changes. FYI- I was bleeding a lot after too so that may ruin something. Good luck!🍀
One quick thing, take something really super loooose because after you have your baby, your body gets really swollen and your clothes dont fit as well😐 buts is only for some days. I wish someone would of told me that when i had my baby
Isabel Rodriguez yes. My baby was 10 lbs 14 Oz at birth. I had a csection. When I arrived vs 4 days later when I left. I lost a grand total of 1 lbs. once I got home I started losing
Wish you safe delivery, can’t wait to meet the baby. 😻😘
I only pack going home outfit for the baby and myself, also my personal hygiene stuff, and very minimal makeup bag. THAT. IS. IT.
I recommend skin to skin while breastfeeding, it is literally a magical experience.
So excited for you!! I just had my son 3 weeks ago and it is the most incredible thing in the world!!
I love u Liz ! Can’t wait for baby to be here but in all honesty all you need is a change of clothes for you to leave hospital, 2 change outfits for baby and a blanket. A light make up bag, chargers for any electronics , snacks for you and hubby change clothing for him things to keep you guys entertained ... I wouldn’t take so much they give you everything at hospital plus I would NOT want to pick up any extra germs taking my pillow or baby nursing pillow. And more work when I get home to re-wash... seem like more work. They give you outfits for baby formula diapers and many more extras. But the food and snack are expensive.. plus good not that great. The main thing is to have the car seat ready. Good luck ❤️
Flip flops are actually good to take lol and buy baby mustela if you can smells great plus gets rid of all baby cradle cap
So very happy for you Liz and your hubby! I can see your excitement! Don't forget your fav snacks and or movies! Can't wait to see the baby! I had a csection with my twin daughters and thank the Lord everything went well! God Bless You all! 💖
The day is almost here!!! Poor lovie, you’re so out of breath and ready to pop 💕 I love that you color coordinated everything. I will be keeping you in my thoughts and I cannot wait to see your beautiful baby!
Hey liz! congratulations on your new bundle of joy! Could you make a video about or briefly mention in one of your videos that things that you packed but didn’t really need. I’m curious to see it.
Wow, I can’t wait to see the baby. I had 5 c-sections and it is not as bad as everyone says. I have two tips for you. Buy a faja ! Stay compressed once your incision heals (10-14 days) use maxi pads on your incision to help keep your clothes stay stain free. Get rest as much as possible in the hospital. I say the hardest things for me was being sleep deprived. Ask family, friends and hubby to help when you are tired.
Good Luck! God Bless
Congratulations Liz ,hubby and family ! 😁💐🦋💐
Congrats beautiful! I had three babies and each time I carried a little makeup. Lord knows delivery is tough enough and I don’t cringe looking back at the pictures because I felt awesome. Glad I took the time to pamper myself a little in the midst of all that. People will give you tons of advice but I’m so glad you already know to block out the negativity. It can be so overwhelming with the judging and do’s and dont’s. Everyone forgets how much they hated it and are quick to pounce on new moms as if they weren’t one before. The only rules are those that you and hubby create. Welcome to motherhood. I wish you all the best! Your super mom already! 💙🌹
Hi Liz! Love your bags. I would say that you might have wanted a rolling bag so hubby doesn’t have so much to carry. You can’t carry anything at all after you have the baby. Maybe the boppy pillow only. Also don’t forget sanitary napkins. The hospital gives you some but you might not want to use them. Bring a gift for the nurses they will become your best friends lol. Great idea on the sleep mask! I’m so getting one too. The hospital gives you a band but you might not like it. I hated mine. I’m getting the c section belly bandit underwear. Also your insurance may reimburse you for it. I’m looking forward to seeing your new baby. I remember when you announced it I said I hope we both have girls, well we are both having boys lol. My fourth though. Many blessings and praying for your safe delivery. 💕💕💕💕
I’m only 4 months pregnant & I love watching these videos they make me 100 times more excited baby clothes is so cute & I can’t wait to get to the part where I have to prepare my hospital bag these videos help so much ugh gets me so excited 😭❤️
Your are just so adorable !!! Your going to make an awesome mom! So organized and prepared I love it!! Wish you all the best and can’t wait to see him! Good Luck and pray for a safe healthy and speedy delivery. Xoxoxo 😘
I forgot a hairbrush and q tips. they kept me there 2 days because I was a new breastfeeding mom. also a blue tooth speaker was so nice.
You’re going to be the most amazing mommy ever I can’t wait to see him. Praying you will have a safe and easy labor girly. ❤️
I'm so excited for you! Babies are such a blessing! I'm having my 3rd C-section in May. The sleep mask is a great idea. You may experience painful gas. Ask the nurse for hot tea and tums, it really helps! God bless!
I had a c section with both my babies! My first was a little hard just bc it was an emergency but my second one was so easy and smooth I was up walking after a few hours.. I’m so excited for you!!! Best of luck!! Praying for a smooth and easy recovery!!!
::::THIS WILL BE LONG::::
Never had a C section so I can't help there, but I've heard you still bleed vaginally with a C section so... PADS! Didn't see any in the vid, so don't rule out vaginal bleeding b/c your not having a vaginal birth. The biggest, longest, thickest ones they sell (I suggest Always purple ones), but ask for extra hospital ones because theirs are even BIGGER!
I'm 23 weeks with baby #2. #1 Little Miss is almost 22 months (will be 2 in April) #2 Littler Miss is due June 3rd, but #1 came at 36 weeks and I have the propensity to have another preemie. So jelly you're having a boy... hubby and I prayed for one this time around 😩
Anyway, honestly.... half the things you packed you won't need. You need a take home outfit for him and blankets. Maybe socks, but baby is swaddled TIGHTLY in hospital, so outfits for him aren't necessary. Newborn pics are better without outfits to me. Take full outfit pics at home 😊 hospital will give you diapers, wipes, etc. Ask for extras if you can.
You will need a journal to go with that pen to take notes and to write things down you want to remember. Take the little card they put on the bassinet when he's born and keep baby's, yours and hubby's hospital bracelets... these keepsakes you will want to have!
I packed with my first for ME: non slip socks, shower shoes, 2 pairs of jammies, that I didn't wear, but one pant one night bc it was FREEZING, pen and journal, tablet, LOTS of snacks, cell phone, charger, lotion, deodorant, brush and paste, little make up, insurance cards and ID, ear buds, pack of panties 2 sizes bigger (that I didn't need there bc hospital gave me mesh panties), pads (that I didn't use until home bc hospital gave me ginormous pads), go home outfit for me that was a VS hoodie and sweats, makeup (that I didn't end up wearing LOL), blanket and pillow, hand sani and hair ties. I think that was it.
Hubby packed: 2 outfits, sweats, cell, chargers, tablet, snacks and sodas, cash/change for vending, blanket, pillow, toiletries, marriage license (IDK why but hey, never know) towel and wash cloth and extra socks.
Baby: car seat, thick blanket, 2 receiving blankets, burp cloth, go home outfit, hat (hospital hat was super cute though and they made a bow on it lol), socks, cleansing wipes and I think that was it.
Tips: Take what the hospital gives you, for vaginal birthers and VBACs, that squirt bottle is LIFE, right?! LOL. Don't know if C Secs get them, the witch hazel wipes, the giant pads and extra mesh panties... OH, and that medicated cooling spray. Ahhh!
Take it all in. Enjoy each moment. Time literally flies by. Don't over think. PRAY and give the rest to God. I hope your hospital has SunCups! It's these little containers of juice with foil on top. SO GOOD! My nurse gave me so many to take home. Have your family/ friends bring outside food, hospital food is grotey! My sister in law brought pizza from Papa John's 😁😂 after 19 hrs of labor I was STARVED! Almost "Labor Day"! Prayers up for a safe delivery... God Bless!
You are so cute. Praying for a healthy delivery for you and baby. 💕
Valerie Lopez liz already had the baby.
Something that helped me out so much was the nursery at the hospital. Bad thing is that my baby was placed in the NICU however, from the begging she was put on an eating schedule which later on helped me. I agree with the nursery. Take advantage of it. I will need your sleep and they can help you. Even if it’s just for a feeding. Do not feel pressured to do it all on your own. Nurses are there to help you (I am a nurse that’s why I say it)
Have a safe and happy delivery.
Excited for you!! I had two C-sections myself. Depending on your pain tolerance try to get up and walk around as soon as you feel comfortable too. The baby will mostly like be in the hospital onesie just so it's easier for the medical professionals to have easy access to baby. The big boat pads the hospital provides can get uncomfortable so bring your own. With my own experience I didn't bleed much. My Dr was pretty good with removing all of the uterus blood. I bought just some oversized cotton Hanes underwear from Target. The first day is a lot. The anesthesia made the first day pretty much a blur. Once it wears off by the second day, it'll be a lot better. And if everything goes well you should be discharged on your 3rd Day. Good Luck💋
I had a c-section wish I didn’t. But everyone has their own experiences. I see people on the 3rd day walking totally normal I was a grandma. But anyways my advice. You won’t really need the pants the dress pj’s are perfect. They will check your incision after surgery until you leave. The underwear. My holy grail were the hospital underwear’s. I wore those even after the hospital. You can buy them off amazon also. I used it for the next month 1/2 until I was able to put a high waist underwear that was able to rub agains my incision. And for the belly band they give you at the hospital it’s good for the 3 days your their. They stretch out easily and won’t help tighten your stomach back in. I def recommend buying your own.
Good luck. ❤️
What about Desitin or something similar for diaper rash? Best wishes on the upcoming birth!
I love you, you're so cute... Prayers for a healthy delivery and Blessings to you and your husband.
Good luck to you both💙 can’t wait to see your baby boy💙
Congrats Liz so happy for you and your husband.
Good luck with your C section Liz! I had a C section and it was literally the best experience! I never got any pain or contractions and the recovery was great! I recommend walking around after the initial 24 hours! Makes a huge difference. Also don't be worried but getting the milk didn't come as fast and was harder bc carrying them is hard the first week! But I promise it gets easier! Do not let anyone make you feel bad if you can't produce bc everyone is different! Wishing you a fast & safe delivery! ❤️❤️❤️
LuxeStyleDecor Agree 100%. It was over a week w my first baby. But when it came in OMG. I nursed both of my babies over the year mark. Don’t be discouraged. Relax n everything will be fine. I also had 2 csections. Best experience
LuxeStyleDecor Jessy forgot to mention the milk part... Def Don't worry about the milk. Even when it "comes in", it's not much in the begining. Baby doesn't need much first few days anyhow
Agree with everything 100%
LuxeStyleDecor Jessy Totally agree!! Don't listen to the horror stories and fear mongering......not everyone has a horrible cesarean recovery and not everyone bleeds buckets after delivering a baby, I don't. They want you up moving and you will find that you recover better if you follow that advice. Our bodies were made for this and the cesarean process has been perfected throughout the years, they perform them daily. Can't wait to see your baby boy.....I know he will be beautiful!!
I can't believe it's almost time!!!! You planned everything so well 👌Congratulations! Can't wait to see your beautiful baby. I wish you the best. 😙🐣
Que emoción, ya pronto conocerás a tu bebé. Muchas bendiciones 🙏🏻
Hi Liz, me and my mom are so happy for you! You are about to meet your little prince. We pray everything goes well! Don’t be shy at the hospital ask for whatever you need!! You are going to be a wonderful mommy! This is your first baby, it’s good to be prepared. Dios te bendiga y te saque con bien a ti y tu hermozo bebe!!💖
I had a c-section last summer so best of luck. My recovery went fast by week two I was walking around fine. I would recommend more burp clothes since you don't know if baby is going to projectile vomit mine did due to dairy allergy, warm blankets the hospital only gives thin ones, and diaper rash cream. Other than that your all set 😄
So excited for you!!!!! God bless you and your new baby... I'm not a mom but you gave some awesome tips . Get it gurl
I loved the way you packed ! You are not doing too much 😌 it’s whatever makes you happy ❤️
I love water wipes. I use them on my face too add witch hazel.
When I had a csection, I also brought some extra pajama clothes thinking I didn’t want to wear the gown the whole time. I ended up being in the gown the whole time because of the pain in moving around and going to the bathroom and everything else. I wish I would have brought my own gown like yours instead. That’s the only thing I can think of. If your hospital was like mine, they’ll provide you with huge pads and loose mesh-type underwear. Take as many as you can home because you’ll need them!
Oh and I thought maybe pack antibacterial. Just because the hospital can be get my especially at this time of year.
Hi Liz, congratulations on your big day to you and your husband. I do recommend the night pads specially after a c-section, you will be bleeding a lot. Also, be very careful when you stand up after surgery you will be very lightheaded. God bless you Liz to you and your soon to be family.
Yeah!! I would recommend a baby lotion for baby. Hospital don’t usually provide them. Being a mommy of 3, babies tend do have dry skin after being born due to being in you. Keeping his skin moisturized will help with cracking. Oh yeah.. take like 10 hair ties you’ll need them! I kept loosing mine or dropping them on the floor.
I’ve had 2 C sections and would recommend: Get more of those hospital designer robes (it will be difficult to get any pants or robes on), get granny panties and pads for the bleeding, a fuzzy/warm long robe for you, take slippers (you should walk around as soon and as often as you can, if not the recovery will be very long and painful), take your own towel, take some snacks, keep the pacifier, keep the baby with you. Buy Mustela products for the baby..they are awesome! Muchas Felicidades y vas a ver que todo te va a salir súper bien!! Muchas Bendiciones! 💕
I agree with other moms, for me i used the hospital gowns my whole stay for my c-section. Nurses come in and out through the night they want to uncover you to check your incision etc. I was so swollen and in pain specially when you cough laugh or sneeze omg it hurts!... im curious to see a retake of this video of what you actually used. And how your experience was. Wish you the best and fast recovery.
oh my God! I'm so excited! hope you have the most painless and easy experience so you can concentrate more on the baby boy and your happiness! May the Almighty bless you and your family! good luck liz. ❤ 😘
i can't believe the time is already here! I'm finishing nursing school and practicing to be a post partum nurse and its great that youre bringing the breast feeding pillow, all the moms I see love them! I hope you have a great experience :) I'm so excited for you 💙💙💙
Congratulations Liz,he's here!
You have thought of everything, Liz! You are so prepared....you are already an amazing & loving mama!💗 Just know you are being prayed over & that I’ll be thinking of you and your husband and your sweet little bundle of blue! You are going to do great! Stay comfortable. And I agree, wear their hospital gowns after your C section bc you might be having to change them quite often the first day or two. Love you bunches xo Joanie Think happy thoughts!!! 💕💕💕💕🙏🏼🌷
😊😊 I can’t believe your having the baby already! I’m so ready to see him. Your gonna make such a wonderful mother.... life is going to change before eyes.... best of luck with labor and delivery..... your c sec will go smoothly! 😘
Omg congrats!!! How exciting! I just found your videos not too long ago. Love them!
I can't wait till I start baby shopping 😍😍😩 I'm 20 weeks with my second, I remember preparing and packing my bag for my daughter it was so exciting
