    Absolutely adorable!! Thanks for the moisture meter idea I seem to always over water my succulents and they end up dying 😞 so I gave up on them but I think I might buy a few today and see where my imagination takes me thank you for the beautiful idea this is one project that will help my depression❤

    I found that a long neck funnel made it easier to direct sand along the sides of the glass. Had trouble controlling where the sand went using paper. Great idea of putting a container in a container to keep the soil from being seen from the outside.

    • @gardenanswer

      sandeep k It isn't necessary to use charcoal if you really monitor the watering, but it doesn't hurt to throw a little in the bottom of the container. I started watering my enclosed succulent containers with a large syringe which really helps me control the amount of water I give them. Thanks for watching!

    How long can the succulents grow in the small glass pot with the Aloe and other things before repoting?

    • @gardenanswer
      @gardenanswer  8 лет назад

      +Marc Treiser They grow for quite awhile like this. They don't grow as quickly when they are planted so close together and I also don't fertilize as much which helps keep the growth under control. I would say you would get over a year in a container like this one. ~Laura
