I dont see how people are hating on this scene. What joy did is more realistic than crying since she found out about the bet and hated him for some episodes. She was dissapointed but shocked. Its realistic cmon guys
For those who STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND HER ACTING THAT WAY: She was disappointed and mad at him about the bet which WAS THE BIGGEST MATTER than all of their big problems in this drama. Her acting shows that she was very sad and very mad at him, she kinda felt like she didn't want to help him or even went there, BUT SHE DID. Her shocked face shows after all that happened SUDDENLY she faced Sihyun almost died in her arm. That was very shocking for Taehee. If she cried a lot in this scene, then we couldn't feel how mad, how disappointed, how shock she was of him *YET* she still had feelings and empathy for him. *Bish stop comparing her and Soji, their character have big differences and so does the emotion/expression.* *Taehee's character is calm and Sooji is the opposite.* Stop comparing it.
Im literally like the character. I dont process emotion quickly. My rational brain will be calculating things, looking for exits, looking for a phone....ive only been shocked motionless once. Never again.
I think her not overreacting was a good call. I mean he played her and she luved him? She must of been conflicted. I thought it was on point. She kept her composure.😌🤕👍
According to her personality in this drama, it’s accurate and realistic to react that way, calm & collected. I don’t see bad acting at all stupid hater 🤦♀️
There's constructive criticism and then there's ridiculous comments saying she ruined everything and she should stop acting. I think Joy had a particularly difficult role, and it’s a shame that when a kdrama has issues all too often the male lead gets praised and protected and there’s a pile-on culture towards the female lead. For example, the comments about Joy not being able to express emotion seem to overlook the reality of the character she was portraying and who Taehee was (and the situation she was in), and ignore the many other scenes where Joy delivered an honest emotional performance. The first break up scene in this drama was so well acted by Joy that I just don't understand how anyone could think she can't act. The way Taehee was in this scene leads me to believe that in these scenes Joy was given specific directions and she delivered what the director asked. I look forward to seeing Park Sooyoung in more acting roles in the future, and for her to keep improving. Joy always seems like someone who acknowledges she still has a lot to learn and keeps working hard. She should be proud of that.
Thank you for the EDUCATED AND BEAUTIFULLY EXPRESSED critique. Well done! I completely agree. I also think she did an amazing job with the little she was given. In my opinion, this scene was perfectly enacted by Joy. If she had been hysterical, it would have been over the top acting and not would not have suited the shocking situation her character found herself in. Brava Joy!
interesting how the male best friend reacted the same way as joys character did yet only joys acting gets criticised. its clear theres an agenda against her and her acting was good thats how most people react with scary and traumatising situations
She was so shocked and heartbroken, she literaly couldn't process any emotions at the time, she could only cry out his name in disbelief of what just happened. Her look of disbelief and shock is so sad... This scene brought me to tears cause of her reaction, it was so genuine.
This was a horrible and scary scene but then again they will AGAIN criticize Joy's acting and will say she ruined the scene. The director has approved her acting that's why it was aired, why other people always criticize her and always compare her with Gayoung when their characters are way too different.
Sheena Marie Domingo joy DID ruin the scene. She had no expression at all and it didn't really seem to her that her boyfriend is about to die. Everyone is comparing her to gayoung because that person shows more emotion than joy ok. I love joy but to be honest she really did ruin it.
Ikr.She was supposed to be shocked, it just didn't sink to her character that her bf was hurt. And her character in here doesn't really express her emotions. Just think if this happened to you, would you be histerical? (I mean, like as of it could do any good) If the director isn't satisfied with her acting, they would have taken another try with this scene. They are just being realistic
She made herself as calm as possible. She didn't scream like you guys wanted cause its not written in the script. And if she did scream would it help Si Hyun to wake up? She is the matured one among the others in the drama can't you see it? She's not a weak girl that would scream and cry while Si Hyun is badly hurt. Didnt you see she dialed the 911 before anything else? Would the screaming Tae Hee like you guys wanted be able to do that? I think not. Please know again her role and HER BEHAVIOUR before you guys judge Joy's acting. The cringy moments I am not completely convinced by it, but scenes like this i dont think she didnt do it properly again. Just saying 😊
Sheena Marie Domingo AGREED !! AND GAYOUNG IS VERY EXPERIENCED SHE EVEN ACTED WITH EXO BUT JOY IS JUST A ROOKIE ( rookie rookie ! ) so dont compare...give her time to improve..this is only her second drama jeez.. i think she is doing pretty well already as a greenhorn in the acting industry..
it is really has to be, her character will always still be the same, her reaction when she's in pain and shocked was always like that, remember her car accident where its not that critical but she's way traumatize, she did so much effor and great job to this drama, it just that its a so much roller coaster drama that anyone can't relate so easily to the main characteristic of the character, especially her, and don't compare her acting to someone like Ga young, cause she had been on so many dramas already, and Joy really take it to the next level this timee, u guys don't just appreciate it
I know a lot of people haven't said much about this but I really loved Woo Do Hwan's acting in this. At the start, you can clearly see how disappointed he feels in himself when he sees joy turn up. Even though he was the one who hurt her, she has come back to help him and he clearly knows that he doesn't deserve her and that's what leads him to do his next action. To at least do something for her, even though he knows that will never completely make up for what he did.
I already watch this Korean Drama But This part make me Go back again to watch this ..... I really. like their acting skills...and joy's reaction it's so realistic
I haven’t even watched the drama yet and based on the situation that’s been explained countless of times in the comments, I think Joy’s acting was spot on. The camera focused on her face when Sihyeon was hit. She was shocked and probably couldn’t process what just transpired. That’s why she kept on asking if he’s okay, still not believing what just happened in front of her. That he was hurt because saving her when he was the one who lied and hurt her in the first place. She was mad because she was fooled and lied to. And then suddenly this happened to him. I’m pretty sure no one will function properly in the same situation. Her character is calm and each character is portrayed for who they are. Meaning, they don’t always have to react the same as other people. Each character has their own nuances and reaction. Their own PERSONALITIES. Do you really think they would upload this scene if the director didn’t approve of her acting?? You wanna be directors? Just say you’re biased because you ship sihyeon with su ji haha or you’re just probably a hater of joy picking on her every time 😂 losers(haters) got a lot of time I see. Anyways, I came from the The King. Hahahahaha I was checking out woo do hwan’s prev dramas. But I got triggered over the unnecessary hate. 🤦🏻♀️ ffs
Her acting in this scene is very realistic. She was betrayed by them man she loved and therefore rightfully mad but still wanted to help him. She felt hate, concern and shock all at once. Crying isn't the only response to traumatic and painful events.
Yes in whole drama joy action felt sooo realistic accurate to her character, yet she got criticised shocked me, I really loved her character and her action in this drama 🥰 her smile too so cute..I loved this drama...I think luck really exist even though this drama is masterpiece people hated it , unlucky
Im crying not because of the scene but because of the comments...its just her 2nd drama tho😑when i saw comments such as "joy ruined the scene" blah blah blah it broke my heart(im just saying)
Joy's acting skill was superb!! When something terrible happens in front of me...i react the same way. Most people do not cry and shout..so shocked that it made us speechless and not know what to do.
Be thankful that she ever did come to save Si Hyun. It means she still cared. And about blabbing about telling them that she called the police, thay's a reflex reaction. Like I said, she is in battle of her emotions that she is still trying to holding it all in inside her. The scene was probably stressing her out more than ever. The guy kept on insisting Tae Hee to come with her. With all these things, Joy can't come up something in her mind a better way for these men to stop what they're doing and leave Tae Hee? I'm prerty sure it wasn't her goal to get the situation worse. The scene clearly tells us what reality is. Sometimes, out of panic, pressure, and stress, we end up coming with bad ideas or dumb decisions. I'm pretty sure all of do relate. Don't tell me you haven't done these bad decisions in your life? Don't tell me you haven't regretted any of your decisions that have gone worse? I know you don't know things will turn out worse than it already has. Put yourself in Joy's shoes, people judging her what they saw based on her actions, not knowing how struggle it is for her already in the inside.
For real tho that scene on 2.25 when he twirl her around so she won't get hurt bcs he knows she tried to protect him is like the best scene in any drama history ever. That scene alone, for me, redempt any other downside of this drama, good job👏🏻
Her acting here was good you know? She is more shock than terrified. This is the most realistic reaction when you saw someone like that. You'll be shock then the terrified feeling comes after and that is when you'll scared. If were in the same place, that would be my reactions
No need to be judgmental, guys. She's still a newbie in acting. Give her a break. And even if she's a rookie actress, I felt her acting was fitting and realistic to the scene. Some people just need to remind themselves to see the best in people.
Once i was in a similar situation like this and i behaved just like how the actress behaved in the video. To be honest, i was really shocked to the core that i could barely speak and my emotions at that time was exactly portrayed by this actress. She did not exagerrate and cry in this scene which would have been unrealistic.
I love Joy so much. Her acting may seem “unnatural” but let’s be honest here, she always has room for improvement. I hate the fact that people criticize her for being a “bad actress” when they don’t even know how to act. She’s trying her best and this is her second drama. Every actor/actress have their own level of acting. Since she’s an idol you can’t expect Joy to have the talent of acting just naturally.
Also understand Joy's lack of emotion in here. I'm no psycho but I think even for me, it'll be natural to act this way after all the stress and depression the three friends caused me. I mean, Joy felt she was toyed. So, I completely understand her. This is a battle of her emotions. Before you judge people, you better understand the situation first. I've watched the drama, and all I ever felt was pain for Joy since the very beginning. Everything that happened is not easy for her. But I've know Eun Tae Hee to be strong when it comes to this. That's why I can say, her reaction towards this happening is only natural. She can't breakdown right away, because of she did, she may not be able to call the ambulance or the police immediately because she will still be crying, like in most cases in other kdramas. And you all be like, please don't let Si Hyun die.
This was the most hear wrenching scene of the drama. Their break ups didn't matter at all. If they broke up today they'll patch up tomorrow but this scene was literally a shock.
Don't blame Joy It was The script And The Director if They Find Joy Lacking Emotion They should have Retake the Scene But I guess Thats how the Director Want It To be so Why are You Criticizing Joy she Just Do what the Director asked her to do
I didn’t expect this episode this was so epic😂😂 I now understand why joy didn’t cry out loud here because you can't really cry like that if you were in shocked and also u were mad at that person, sorry for sticking at such exaggerated way of acting.
came here to check for comments dat would soothe my soul and motivate me to watch dis drama bcux right now am on Netflix and came across dis, but all I see is how y'all complaining about joy's acting, am in severe pains
I just finished it yesterday, personally i think she was good not overreacting and as someone who is very "keeping my emotions for myself" i understand many of her reactions. And the drama itself is worth watching.
I thought that Joy’s acting for this scene was perfect for her character. But i really hope that Lee Ki Young gets sued since we didn’t really see what happened to him in the end
I wish they focused more on what happen to Lee Ki Young. It's a crime and it seems like he get away with it (he didnt but looks like it. I want to see him suffer in jail lmao)
This is the exact scene that we needed! After what happened between them I was wondering what could be the thing that would mend this broken relationship. And this is it. The way they both tried to save each other and he took the blow. Even though it doesn't immediately make them back together and still takes 5 years, its very understandable. I really love how they brought everything together in this scene. This is a really good drama
For those who keep saying joy isint that good, that’s her nature that she’s very calm in such situations and that she knows what to do with out crying or stuff like that so deal with it
Once i was in a similar situation like this scene and i think joy acts good and realistic. Maybe you guys watched too many dramas but real life isnt like this.
i remember at this point in the series i was like i don’t even care about the couples just let everyone be happy @ the end of all this cause damn rn everyone is so screwed up.
Where is all the hate towards the actress everyone is talking about? Do they project their own feelings about her not being competent enough? Because she is not. She's not a good actress and the director obviously didn't guide her well at all.
She just stood there!!! Is it normal to just stand by while someone is being beaten almost to death? She knew them all. It’ not as if they were strangers!! Yet, she was a passive bystander. Director, what were you thinking? Yes, she was terribly hurt emotionally, but to just stand by while someone she once loved was being attacked doesn’t make sense. The girl acted the way she was told to, so she isn’t to blame for generally appearing either barely warm or cold, or calm. She’s a lovely little actress and I can see her, in the future becoming quite accomplished. The lead actor too, will come into his own given the chances. He is a sweetheart! I can see him acting in all manner of genres in the future. What is the psychology behind her behaving in a relatively calm and collected manner at this point in time? What, I wonder, was going through her mind, or should I say, the writer’s mind? It certainly was a disconcerting turn of events. I’m in a discipline that entails psychology in education. I comprehend what was going on, but not to the extent that I fully understand some of the why’s of this scene. If there is a psychologist out there watching this scene, would you kindly enlighten me. Thank you.
Joy acting , I think that is how it should be.. Coz she is like Confused at the moment.. Their are people like that when something happens instead of doing what major of people do.. They just like freeze and dont know which is which.. Their mind go blank.. And Joy definitely acted it that way..
bg music in every scenes are actually very essential to put up a very interpretable emotion. I think this drama lacks of it that's why people end up not liking the drama and the actors/actresses. They are all good in portraying the right emotions in every scene, people just want to hate💁🤷
Scrolling through the comments and there’s only Joy’s fans saying her acting was amazing. I get it, I don’t care, anybody care to comment about literally anything else?
I feel that this is more realistic. In an actual situation like this, people don’t start crying and saying how they regretted this and regretted that. They are so shocked, they have no idea how to react. All y’all just too glued to the exaggerated crying.

And you all be like, please don't let Si Hyun die.
i cried so hard during this scene holy shit it's so heartbreaking :"(
This was the most hear wrenching scene of the drama. Their break ups didn't matter at all. If they broke up today they'll patch up tomorrow but this scene was literally a shock.
After watching all these I will be like, Si Hyun, you deserve it all but you are so handsome...
Don't blame Joy It was The script And The Director if They Find Joy Lacking Emotion They should have Retake the Scene But I guess Thats how the Director Want It To be so Why are You Criticizing Joy she Just Do what the Director asked her to do
Damn this series was great. Loved all the actors xx
Oh my gosh calm down people stop criticizing her she’s just doing what’s she’s told and reading her script that she was givin
I didn’t expect this episode this was so epic😂😂 I now understand why joy didn’t cry out loud here because you can't really cry like that if you were in shocked and also u were mad at that person, sorry for sticking at such exaggerated way of acting.
This made me cry a river
this was very very good acting! 😫 i cryyy!! It’s so realistic
His dodge game was A1 until she ran towards him
This scene was intense.
is it only me or si hyun looked like ji chang wook in healer
I miss the drama so much I miss hearing “door opened”
*Everyone in the comments talking about joy's acting while i only see how beautiful woo do hyun looks even while getting beaten up*!!!!
came here to check for comments dat would soothe my soul and motivate me to watch dis drama bcux right now am on Netflix and came across dis, but all I see is how y'all complaining about joy's acting, am in severe pains
I love this drama so much💚
Drama name please
I don‘t understand why people hate on her acting. It‘s realistic, like c‘mon, kdramas don‘t always have to be like fairytales.
I feel so sad for my Soo ji (moon ga young) she was the one with most of mental sorrows and fears
I will compliment woo do hwan his so good in this role why many people don't notice that
Joyyaaahh😍
the story was really good and realistic though they hurt each other way too much.....!!!!!!
People hating this scene because it's realistic be like: 🤡🤡🤡
I love this drama!!!!! 😍 I'm thinking of watching it again 😁
D.I.L what do you use to watch this???? What app or website
@@Itsxasura Viki~ Enjoy~ ^^
this scene is still so heartbreaking 💔
This was such a sad scene yet joy did a okay job ig idk why she is getting ridiculous amount of hate
I miss this drama so much😭

@@ghadaibrahim8601 THE GREAT SEDUCER / TEMPTED
Bu çift birbirine yakışıyor👍
Those dramas are playing way too much with my emotions
Its my favorite scene
Her acting was actually realistic lol people are just used to exaggeration
I got goosebumps
I thinks Joy is very talented, it make me sad that peoples don't like her in this drama
Cant see woo do hwan like this😢😢
When someone get shot or get stab, I still can tolerate with that. But when someone got beaten up by the golf stick, it's too scary!
great acting
i remember at this point in the series i was like i don’t even care about the couples just let everyone be happy @ the end of all this cause damn rn everyone is so screwed up.
Joy's acting is brilliant, I don't get the negative comments about her acting.
Where is all the hate towards the actress everyone is talking about? Do they project their own feelings about her not being competent enough? Because she is not. She's not a good actress and the director obviously didn't guide her well at all.
Her acting makes this scene funny😂😂
joy is so gd
Mtoooo bom essa série atores maravilhosos 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😜😜😜
Thank you.
*this time she failed to protect Si Hyun's Head*
Esta escena es realmente buena .
Joy acting , I think that is how it should be.. Coz she is like Confused at the moment.. Their are people like that when something happens instead of doing what major of people do.. They just like freeze and dont know which is which.. Their mind go blank.. And Joy definitely acted it that way..
This girl just pissed me off, why did she tell the clearly deranged man she called the police!!!
bg music in every scenes are actually very essential to put up a very interpretable emotion. I think this drama lacks of it that's why people end up not liking the drama and the actors/actresses. They are all good in portraying the right emotions in every scene, people just want to hate💁🤷
Bruh the way that dude got hit in the head was like...dammm
JOOOOOOY MYYYYY LOVEEEEEE MYYY LIFEEEEE 😍😍😍😍😍
ممكن اسم المسلسل 😘😍
Why are people hating joy . She is just playing a character 🤦🏻♀️
Scrolling through the comments and there’s only Joy’s fans saying her acting was amazing. I get it, I don’t care, anybody care to comment about literally anything else?
It really is amazing
Alot of fans didn't like joy is the female lead
@@onceu17 I was hoping to discuss scenes and ships and shit on this thread. Not the actress who you’ve now brought into my thread too.
ซีนที่ทำให้นางเอกโง่ๆนึกว่าจะมีแค่หนังไทยซะอีก ขัดใจอะ โอ้ยยยพินุ้ง;-;
ใช่ งงเหมือนกัน เพิ่งเข้ามาดูรู้สึกไม่อยากดูเพราะนางเอกคนเดียว
I love this drama
The villain acted so well! That I hated him a lot!
this is how shock was for me. i behaved the way taehee behaved here
