I really like this epilogue. It's fun, captivating and it resolves quite cleverly some obscure elements that were left in the story. The second part where Walt, Ben and Hurley meet together is emotionally powerful, and for me, it constitutes a beautiful conclusion of these characters' arcs, while leaving us enough space for imagining ourselves what their next adventures on the Island will be. The epilogue captures the thrilling "spirit" of the show.
This is my first time watching this. Thank you. The best part was seeing Ben happy with what he’s doing, happy he’s not lying or deceiving, happy that Hurley’s in charge. Hurley saved Ben.
So happy the Suraj showed them the HISHE. Loved seeing Nikki and Rana getting the chance to understand the "LAPIDUS" yell and it was great seeing them react to Frank's observations about the characters' arcs.
I think with the way Nikki and Rana reacted to the finale emotionally, which not everyone does, is a good indication their next reaction should be The Leftovers. Damon Lindelof excels at creating a cast of incomplete people coming together despite circumstances. It also explores the themes of faith and religion way more which you guys seems to have talked about throughout the last season and especially the finale. I'm not sure if it would do well numbers wise but if you want to create something special like you did with Lost, I think that's the best bet.
The Leftovers is amazing. I have a vauge memory that Damon Lindelof once said in an interview that he learned "lessons from (what he thought were) mistakes" he did with LOST when he did The Leftovers. Something about keeping the focus on the characters and emotional stuff, not the mysteries involved; The Leftovers had fewer mysteries and burning questions, and the nature of the show didn't lead you to be invested in the answers to these as religiously as LOST did with its mysteries.
Even if you don't record it I hope you show the girls the video of the cast singing on set. It really shows that even in later seasons they really seemed to get along...and are very talented.
I've always wished I could find a video of Jorge singing "Are You Lonesome Tonight?". I seen an interview where Terry said one of his favourite moments making the show is when they got together to sing, and Jorge did a perfect Elvis impression singing that song, including all the talking parts.

Interesting that they felt the need to come back to "Room 23" and the mannequin in the chair bore a resemblance to Sawyer. When Sawyer first encountered Room 23, when he rescued Karl, we saw that he was very susceptible to brainwashing. The clip Sawyer was mesmerized by showed a yellow flower (with the phrase "plant a good seed and you will joyfully gather fruit"), similar to the flower he later picked and brought to Juliet in LaFleur, and in that scene we also saw that Juliet had a whole vase full of those same flowers on the dining room table. Her shirt had flowers embroidered on it. We also saw those same flowers next to Sawyer's reading spot and on his bedside table.

The whole "fan" worker's asking Ben "writers" 1 question each, was pretty much what this was about; question 1: what's the purpose of the Hydra station, and it's meaning: Ben answers it. Question 2: what the hell happened to Walt. Answered. I personally loved this little nod to the fans, and it did bring forth a lot, and did a great job at finalizing the series.

I just want to thank you guys so much for taking the Lost journey with me. Obviously you all did it first, but the only reason I gave it a chance is because I wanted to spend more time with just the three of you. Ended up being tied with my #1 show of all time, which is Dark (that’s also the show that brought me to the Normies). So thank you again for laughing and crying with me. I love you guys! No matter which show it is or how many other reactors I watch, you three are my constants!
It should definitely be Dark next! It's a storytelling masterpiece and the third and final season is out this summer. Just make sure you watch it with german audio and english subtitles. I know, I know, this scares you a bit, but trust me, it's well worth it. It's just much superior to the dub.
I Don't get why People Needed a Verbal Explanation of how the Polar Bears got on the Island. I figured it out straight away and I was 9.. I said "somebody must have been to the island and brought a polar bear"
I agree. Mr. Friendly literally says "it only took the bears x minutes". and we saw that charlotte found a polar bear skeleton in the desert where ben was also teleported to, people really couldn't put two and two together??

That gives you the first indication and then it's outright confirmed when we see the cages - which were originally built by the DI - accompanied by a reference to bears. I'm not sure how Tom had that information, cause he was never with the DI. It makes sense that he knows they used those cages for polar bears, but not specific information like that. I've always assumed that he wasn't actually giving accurate information, but rather simply making a Joke at Sawyer's expense and picking a quicker time off the top of his head.
They also explained the Hurley Bird and why pregnant women die on the island in that video. Also why Pier had to use the alternative name Marvin Candle and Holiwax.
Honestly you guys should definitely watch Jimmy Kimmel’s aloha to lost !!! It has all the cast different endings made by the Writers ect it’s so good!!! Please watch it!!

My interpretation always was that in the Lost "lore", its "world", "universe", whatever you call it, there never were alternative realities or parallel universes naturally, like in other shows (and some people think in our reality). So, the Flash Sideways take place in an artificial alternative universe they created when they went back in time and dropped the bomb. This universe is not supposed to exist, it doesn't obey normal rules, it's beyond time, that's why "there is no now" there. They're there for as long as they need to remember....and to let go. I don't believe it ceases existing because of them moving on though, as some people (like Ben, Alex, Danielle, Ana Lucia, Daniel, Charlotte) remain there. Maybe this is a place for everybody to really "sort their things out". What kinda confirms that to me is Mr. Eko isn't there. We saw him move on if you think about it when he died, we saw in his last istants an image of him ad his brother together as kids walking away. I believe that was HIS move on moment. He already did came to peace with who he was when he confessed to Flocke. And people like Richard, Lapidus, Walt and Michael aren't there either, Richard too had his own moment of clearity when he saw he was starting to age again, so he probably didn't have regrets moving forward. And Lapidus always was really thrown in there against his will. Walt as seen here probably had its unfinished business resolution with helping his father moving on AND being the next protector in line after Hurley. The others needed each other to move on. And that's why they created this place to begin with. And, at the end, they do.

I wouldn't expect a reaction video but I would definitely recommend watching "Letting Go: Reflections of a Six Year Journey", a short featurette that was on the season 6 discs (or watchable here you RUclips!) to add one last little book-end to the series. It's really sweet!
I like to think Hurley went out to help nobody's find a better life in the world and find out why they are special. Much like how Hurley is depicted bringing everyone together in the flash sideways. Where as jacob had to bring nobodys to the island in order to set up the trap that would kill his brother.
Piggybacking off of Rana's comment, if they were to reboot Lost (not a fan of the idea), they should follow-up with a grown up Walt trying to hand off the island to baby Aaron (now a teenager) because of a new threat or whatever. That's the only thing I'd want to see. Unless they did the ancient mythology of the island (who constructed the temple, etc) and delved more into that.
Dom Monaghan is great! I was (am) such a fan of Lord of the Rings seeing he waa in this show is what made me watch LOST in the first place! If you've not seen his legendary prank interview with Elijah Wood you must find it.
I just miss the Jimmy Kimmel alternate endings and maybe Mad TV Parody. Anyway, thank you so much for the whole series experience. It was totally worth it. I had so much fun watching you guys. I'm very grateful to all of you who made this possible.

Loved this epilogue but wish there was more with history of the island and the people that ended up like Jacob and the statue and how everything came to be that's why I liked the island skipping you get to see some of that. 18:26 Well, I think when they actually auditioned for the Man in Black, the character´s name was titled as "Sam" (if I remember correctly, I didn´t double check, but I know I have read that story somewhere)! So, I always took that as the closest to canon answer.....

Given how the island showed magical powers from the jump I never understood why people were so bothered by the polar bears thing, even after the dharma explanation? Even after everything you witnessed regarding the island?

Loved this epilogue but wish there was more with history of the island and the people that ended up like Jacob and the statue and how everything came to be that's why I liked the island skipping you get to see some of that. Too bad not more like who built temple lighthouse who built the cave where the light came from unnecessary i know wish more Jacob always say that but I know we seen everything or at least all important stuff.
