This revamp is more of a 50/50 in my opinion, yes it's bad looking at the reduced damage of Argus' passive and Skill 2 (which is completely unnecessary) alongside with the reduced movement speed buff from 40% to 20% But this revamp does come with it's benefits tho: 1. You gain more malice energy with Crit and Ult Activation which allows you trigger his passive more frequently (also with Skill 2 if you hit an enemy hero which gives you a full passive allowing you to deal 2 Enhanced BA) 2. Argus' Late Dmg potential with his revamped Ult will be even higher now 3. You have a much longer Ult duration (that is if enemy deals fatal damage to Argus in FA State) which sorta increases your survivability even more 4. You gain a decent amount of movement speed in Ult which is not bad I feel like I have to agree with Zayed on the new Crit Build on Argus: -Corrosion Scythe -Windtalker -Swift Boots -Haas Claws -Berserker's Fury -Great Dragon Spear Other options could be: Malefic Gun or Malefic Roar if you wanted to switch your boots in late game, Sea Halberd (can be switched with either GDS or Boots) if you are facing sustain type heroes like Ruby, Yu Zhong, Alpha, etc..., and Lastly, Blade of Despair for even greater burst damage against squishes

He's already a sitting duck without his ult, and now it has 50 seconds of cool down. I didn't expect this from moonton. Devs nerfed his passive damage as well as skill damage while we all know that argus' skill barely deals noticeable damage. There was no need to add two phases on argus' ultimate, some people say it's beginner friendly, lol. There are lots of heros that are really hard to play and argus isn't one of them. If devs really wanted to make argus more beginner friendly, why didn't they make his ult to be active automatically when his hp drops? There was no need to change the mechanics of his ult. Also did i mention that this version of argus is bad at split pushing? No malice energy when hitting turrets as well as creeps and minions?! The heck?! Argus from original server just needed his malice energy boost to be a meta hero again, not that many nerf shits. I guess the devs are forcing players to build crit items on him so that you can spam your passive more often. Man I know that it sucks that they have to nerf the movement speed boost from his skill 2 and I'm pretty sure that it's because of the no boots build and only thing that they buffed Argus is his survivability and higher fequency passive. Ngl spamming his passive with crit build during his ultimate make me feel angry 😂😂. Perhaps I will use the new Rose Gold Meteor on him since it's a bit essential for basic attack fighters

Actually, the boots somehow really impact to his damage. Thats why a lot of players not using boots. We just relying on s2 and corrosion. But with these changes, we have no choice. But if we really dont want to use boots maybe we can buy windtalker or GDS at the start of the game

As an Argus main this is a heavy blow and a questionable nerf. But from your gameplay I think it's still doable to survive in solo ranking if you are extra careful in the early-game. Cutting the damage on the second skill by almost half is questionable and the lack of heals from minions is stupid since Dryoth can do it just fine. Hopefully next season once the revamp arrives I can still play Argus just as well as before, I just need to learn to adapt and deal with the weights given to me.
This confirms, Moonton is too stupid in fixing heroes. Now they've completely just made Argus from struggling to survive early to welcome to hell you can't farm for xp and gold cause you're too weak. Really hate Moonton idiocy in revamping hero. But when it's Marksman hero they somehow know what to fix and a majority of MM heroes are late game monster.

And I think we can survive for 4 seconds (depending on your opponent's hero) then of course after dying we press the ultimate button, right? And the ultimate duration is 4 seconds? right? Well, if it's the Revamp version, we're not dying when our life bar is full and we're immediately ultimate, right? And the duration of Fallen Angel State is 4 seconds.If the enemy keeps beating us we will enter the Immortality phase, right? It's the same, right? This is just to prevent new Argus users from pressing the Ultimate button too late Actually it's just a skill issue
Yeah but the 2nd main thing of ultimate now is getting that enhanced passive so using it early gives you a much better chance to get more than 4 seconds of ULT but yes it's definitely added for noobs
I get that he shine no matter what at late game. But reducing his base attack stats is a little too much since they also cut his healing from passive. The only good side i see is a double passive slash with his second skill and more tower diving potential, even so he'll still have a hard time killing in those 8 secs since his early game damage is nerfed.

Passive changes? They’re fine. Considering how they’re changing how his passive triggers, that makes it fair. That being said if they’re going to nerf the base damage of his 2nd skill, they better buff the scaling damage. To me, like 160% is enough to compensate for the bad early game base. It’s still ok enough for the early game for him to do damage, and it’s enough for his 2nd skill to compensate for his healing not triggering on non-hero units

If this revamp perform badly in original server ,, i think they'll buff him ,, I played him in advance server and i gotta tell you man ,, he feels different,, Gotta make new rotations , Itemizations and play style cause the current playstyle of argus ( OG server ) is very different with the revamp argus ,, considering that they decided to mix the 2017 version with the 2020 argus is kinda wholesome if most of you didn't get the context from his revamp ,, its not just the upcoming skin of his ( though yes most part ) but the nostalgia of the old argus is very much alive with this new one but the playstyle wouldn't be welcoming ( Old argus have a playstyle of leash unlike the current one ) so i think rather aggressive at early game you should avoid Fights at all cost unless teamclash ,, Keep farming until full item before to play aggressive, New itemization for him ( used by me ) Hunter strike for that early game power boost ( Sell it at late game for dragon spear ) Boots ( tough boots or magic boots apparently you don't want to prolong the stun to argus cause they can bait out the ultimate duration ) Corrosion sythe Windstalker Dhs or Hass claw depending on the enemy line up ( DHS if very tanky or hass claw for additional provided Lifesteal , Hass claw is till the best for me ) Berserk Malefic gun - for additional range and movspeed Malefic roar - for additional Pen Blade of despair - for additional attack boost Great Dragon spear - for ultimate movspeed buff Sea halberg - anti-heal and hp based damage ( better hp based damage than dhs cause it is on spot damage unlike dhs whose stack but still dhs is better for prolonged fights ) Summarize Argus feels like the 2017 argus , The play style and and overall skills Needed new rotations in order to reach that late game boost ( hes weaker in early-mid game hence he felt like the 2017-2019 version ) New items Hunter strike - early game boost Corrosion sythe Tough boot/ magic voots Wind stalker Hass claw / Dhs Berserk Dragon spear / Malefic roar / m. yeah I think for the Argus revamp this time there are plus points and minus points, the good side is now Argus can open a war as his role is a close-range fighter and now he has enough time to face several enemies at once, even if he dies at least he can throw away the enemy's skill resources but on the bad side what should be revamped this time can be quite good is regen against minions when entering his eternal evil mode, although it doesn't seem to have much effect but for some Argus users especially when in urgent conditions for ulti time and there is a big possibility that the enemy can escape so yeah that's where the average Argus user uses the remaining ulti duration to get heal from attacking minions, I also often use it when time is urgent especially combining it with skill 2 then Argus's hp can be full immediately and also his skill 2 damage is also quite a lot cut and that will have quite an effect on Argus when clearing lanes especially if our lane is frozen then it will be quite difficult to win 1 vs 1 in laning but I think they look back nya trying to combine the old argus in 2017 with the 2020 argus revamp with a few changes, but don't worry, Moonton is now just listening to the complaints of its players and I think if the Argus revamp this time makes its users a little difficult, Moonton will immediately give it an additional buff, it's simple from me, just return the damage from skill 2 and regen when attacking non-hero units during the ulti, then the Argus revamp will be quite balanced, but then or now slowly Argus will also get a buff back considering he will get a new skin in 2025 and if I'm not mistaken the skin has an all star tag

If this revamp perform badly in original server ,, i think they'll buff him ,, I played him in advance server and i gotta tell you man ,, he feels different,, Gotta make new rotations , Itemizations and play style cause the current playstyle of argus ( OG server ) is very different with the revamp argus ,, considering that they decided to mix the 2017 version with the 2020 argus is kinda wholesome if most of you didn't get the context from his revamp ,, its not just the upcoming skin of his ( though yes most part ) but the nostalgia of the old argus is very much alive with this new one but the playstyle wouldn't be welcoming ( Old argus have a playstyle of leash unlike the current one ) so i think rather aggressive at early game you should avoid Fights at all cost unless teamclash ,, Keep farming until full item before to play aggressive,

Hunter strike for that early game power boost ( Sell it at late game for dragon spear )
Boots ( tough boots or magic boots apparently you don't want to prolong the stun to argus cause they can bait out the ultimate duration )

Dhs or Hass claw depending on the enemy line up ( DHS if very tanky or hass claw for additional provided Lifesteal , Hass claw is till the best for me )

I could just imagine all the people in the mobile Legends headquarters sitting at a table saying you know what hero is hardly ever picked do you want to know which hero was not played during M6 out of 100 and something Heroes Argus no one plays him during rank hardly ever and no one even used him during any competitions do you know what I think I think since hardly anyone ever even plays this hero because he sucks so bad and can't really win any ranked matches I think we should Nerf him and make him even worse I'm just trying to figure out mobile Legends reasoning for it

Biggest nerf ever this revamp sucks i won't use argus anymore until they changed it back to normal i tried the new argus and its dog shit u can't split push anymore because of this and you can't use it in high rank anymore because of bad early to mid game I don't know what moonton was thinking but i hope they bring it back to normal
