Hey what's up Bully world? Today I am posting a video, a part 1 of 2 video series of the first day I start teaching some basic bite work with my 2 American Bullies, Lucifer & Freya. What you will see in this video is me just introducing the Bite Wedge, and hoping that Lucifer and Freya are not too distracted to learn the bite game.
I am not teaching my American Bullies bit work for personal protection. This is simply for my practice as well as giving my dogs a fun training session that motivates them as well as mentally and physically exhausting them. As always for the record I am not a professional canine trainer or handler. I am a dog lover, Bully lover and owner. I have paid multiple times for basic training with my own dogs growing up. With my Pit bull Back in 2003 I did Basic training and Protection training as well as my American Bulldog in 2005. With a man named Nigel at Custom K9 in Scarborough Ontario. I have now started a journey with my American Bullies to learn a new style of training K9's. My last trainer and style was a crank and snatch kind of style. Now I am learning from a great man Dan from Dankroft K9 here in Toronto.
So far I have only done a few weeks of basic Obedience training, and I am in discussion with them to one day soon start an official apprenticeship to become certified K9 trainer. I have goals to bring that journey from beginner to professional to everyone that follows my channel. Hey everyone I really hope you like this video , I will be uploading Part 2 tomorrow with Lucifer, let me know in the comments if you think Lucifer will do better then Freya.
This was a lot of fun for my dogs and I. for the first time doing this I was super impressed, The most action they ever had with this was me teasing them in the house before we came out side.
I do not recommend doing this type of training or playing with your dogs inside your home unless you have some sort of designated area like a basement or garage you do your training in, but certainly not in your living room.

Why teach her to bite?
Hey there Jerry, I am not teaching her to bite people. this is not protection training- This is just a game of tug pretty much- and its a great way to mentally and physically work your dog. When i come in the house after 15 min of playing she is exhausted and just sleeps for hrs after.
