- Rolling Quartz' official Dreamcatcher cover of 'Good Night' is out and I couldn't be more excited! It was impossible not to notice there were a fair few references in the MV to Dreamcatcher videos. I won't pretend I caught them all. Some were literally split second and just couldn't be made to work in the video, others probably went right by me. Maybe some of these are a bit of a stretch, but I was still reminded of them. Please, feel free to add to the list here!

I did not notice on my first watch that they filmed in the same place where Odd Eye (Dystopia Ver.) was filmed! So cool! I think the scenes were also within the cover mv's own lore. The description says the music video was about achieving a 6th sense by using the 5 human senses. Arem was sound (the record and whisper), Iree was sight (camera and TV), Yeongeun was touch (the busts and candle melting, also her cuddling Iree), Jayoung was taste (cake and meat) and Hyunjung was smell (roses and perfume) At my first watch I interpreted this meaning but could not notice they were also reusing props from previous DC music videos!! Lastly, I think we can add the blindfold as a reference to the Odd Eye mv. Thank you for the video!! (Ps: This is the longest youtube comment I have ever written lol)

I could only get the camera reference since it was the most obvious one although other did seem familiar, but couldn't get them at the time. I have to admit, those are quite a number of references to Dreamcatcher videos. Props to you for spotting so many.

Iree sitting on the chair was sort of a reference to Siyeon sitting in Odd Eye mv. Also in the intro scene, when everyone is lying with each other, Jayoung waking up to reveal yellow devilish eyes and the lights going out is something else.
Do you think we might see collaboration between DC and Rolling Quartz? One of the RQ members taught Handong how to play the drum. Maybe we will see them collab with their next comeback or special clip?
I would REALLY like that and I think all the women would be game. I think it will come down to money and marketing. If the board agrees, they might. A decision about that might have been made along with the decision to allow and support this cover, but DCC might also be looking to see how the comeback goes to see if it's worth the investment. It also depends on what else they have going on-like the comeback.

Awesome video! The easter eggs in this homage have been amazing. It may not be perfectly aligned, but the beginning where the strip of light highlights Jayoung's eyes reminds me of both

Absolutely! The description of the MV States that Rolling Quartz has been influenced a lot by Dreamcatcher and they wanted to create an homage to the group. It's really lovely and they did amazing! 🥰❤️
