I love the Signature line. Whenever I went to the department store, I would gravitate towards these Tom Ford fragrances. The employee at the the store suggested to me that I try the store that sells niche fragrances. This was around five years ago. Now i have a good collection of niche fragrances. Tom Ford Noir was my favourite fragrance back then.
Noir Anthracite is the best in the line. Noir Extreme is just ok. But people tent to like this ok releases more than the best and daring ones. I miss the old times when mainstream perfumery were interesting

Anthracite reminded me of an 80’s type like the original aramis with more ooommph , love the original with its gothic dark smell but extreme is a belter I think extreme opening smells like the dry down of tobacco vanille with its creamy desert smell

It is withdrawn and not available at the retail stores anymore. I don't know about Noir but Noir Extreme is still available in two sizes and in a gift set of 100ml and a 10ml traveler spay. I own it and I love it. A true masterpiece!
Noir edt i grew to love, wondering if you have fragrances that do a similar genre. Maybe not smelling exactly the same. That citrus with the spicy oriental notes is interesting
Noir Extreme is the first fragrance I got after I became obsessed with fragrance so it definitely holds a special place in my heart. One of the best fragrance to touch this planet!

I justed snagged anthracite for $20 for an almost full bottle at goodwill. It's very very unique. Very outdoorsy kind of scent and I quite liked it. I posted it on reddit and people ragged on it so hard and I truly couldn't understand why. It's one of the few fragrances that is a full experience and brings some sort of memories. I will say it's so harsh in the opening but man is it nice in the drydown.
Off the website doesn't always mean DC'd, just not sold directly from the house. Versace The Dreamer has been off their site for years and has clearly not gone away.

I am 22 years old and I own Tom Ford Noir Anthracite. The 100ml tester bottle was on clearance sale, so I blind bought it. OK, it is not the best fragrance in my collection, but I still like it.
Anthracite... I have a decant.. and I decided that I liked it, but not enough to buy a bottle. To me there was enough of Noir EDP (which I have a bottle of) in it to really not need to have the Anthracite version. It's basically Noir with a much more green/herbal opening. Again, I like it but I don't see myself wearing it enough to get a full bottle. Maybe if I come across one at the right price.. I got a steal on the EDP, so I doubt lightning will strike twice..
When I heard that Anthracite was dicontinued I bought three 100ml bottles, except the one 50ml I was using. It is a very good fragrance. Not my best, but very good. I can understand why peolple do not like it. It has nothing feminine, sweet or floral in it. It is over the top masculine and people prefer more "bi-sexual" fragrances nowadays.

Anthracite is still to this day the only fragrance I have had to scrub off more than once just trying to give it a chance and make it through a full wearing.

Noir Anthracite is a fascinating fragrance but in the same time I wanted to scrub off because of some unpleasant notes. And don't get me wrong - I am a fan of oldschool fragrances like Kouros, Polo Green etc. Gucci Absolute just smells like cheap trainer shoes or some cheap plastic, so I don't get the hype.

tom ford now is catering toward very unisex/fem released as of LATE. lost cherry, bitter peach, tuberose one, costa azzura, etc. bring back the heavy masculines!! all we had was beau de joir...a demoted release from the signature collection

It's a real shame, but powdery accords seem to struggle more in mainstream men's releases, at least in the US - and yes, Anthracite is terrific.

I found a 6ml miniature dab of Noir and I enjoy the scent so far. I will try it out in winter as it is roaring summer here now

TF Noir EDP is quite underrated. I do like it for it's animalistic, powdery and Amber scent. Quite nice.

The Noir Anthracite almost had this mosquito repellant scent to it. Maybe artistic, but just not a desirable creation at least to me.

Noir Anthrocite is a dry Polo Green that I’ve wanted for years.
