My favorite part of shed hunting is that every shed is unique. It's an honor to pick them up and admire the journey they have gone through to get into your hands
My favorite part of shed hunting is that it helps me to become a better hunter by helping me to become more patient and to build my determination to go further to the next ridge as I look for sheds.
My favourite thing about shed hunting is the moment you spot an antler! Never gets old, instant excitement
Favorite is introducing the kids to it knowing they will keep the tradition going!!!!
My favorite part about shed hunting is that you get to find things you wouldn't have otherwise. The sheds are the goal but finding old settlement sights, or arrowheads, or tools from the logging days is always cool
My favorite part of shed hunting is just being out in the woods doesn’t even matter if I find one I just like being in the great outdoors
My favorite thing about shed season is finding antlers from bucks we saw just before season while they were packing. And seeing all the free range cows.
My favorite thing about shed hunting is all the spring beauty and getting back outdoors.
Favorite thing about shed hunting is talking with buddies about where we will go once the sheds start dropping and then once spring hits we load up in the truck and take off making our fantasies come true after we pick up that first brown elk shed of the year. Lots of smiles, miles of walking, and creating a huge piles of antler.
My favorite part of shed hunting is the wondering...wondering about the animal, where has it been, where is it going, what has it seen. Every shed has a story.
My favorite part about shed hunting is having history of the animals you are hunt
No rushing, just a walk in the mountains, sometimes with the dog or kids, watching the inevitable slow change of season week after week.
favorite part of shed hunting is being outside after a winter of not being outside as much as i'd like to be
My favorite part of shed hunting is finding elk in all the places you'd wish you could find them in the fall!
It’s the initial 20 seconds of adrenaline after spotting the antler, for me. Then of course decorating the house with ‘em
Just being out there in the woods is the best part and the exercise
My favorite part of shed hunting is that it gives me another excuse to get out in the mountains.
Live in western Washington, so my favorite part of shed hunting is the peace and solitude.
Favorite part is seeing some of the crazy places the animals will shed their anters.
My favorite part of shed hunting is sharing the time in the woods with my family and exploring new places that you wouldn't go except for sheds lol
My favorite part is the spring weather it is always a great time of the year after a long winter.
My favorite part of shed hunting is you never know what your going to find.
My favorite part of shedding is the adventure and unknown factor
Favorite part is always looking for that one antler that just has that wow factor!
The best part about shed hunting is spending time with my son! We've been doing it now for about 5 years he's 16 now and some of our best times together happen in mountains! 👊
I have many great shed hunting memories with my Dad! The best quality time!
My favorite part of shed hunting is at the end of the day, whether you find a truck load of sheds or no sheds at all, you’re able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful outdoors
The best part about shed hunting is that it overlaps with bear season.
My favorite part about shed hunting, is spending time in nature, and never knowing what you will walk up on.
My favorite part about shed hunting is imagining the critter that at one point was standing in the same spot I am..
My favorite part about shed hunting is all the cool, crazy places it takes you, that you may have never otherwise gotten to explore!

Hey Wyatt! Just following up here! Shoot me a message when you see this!
My favorite part about shed season is actually finding antlers when I am looking for them. During the rest of the year, I usually find some accidentally, but it’s always a good feeling when you set out looking for something and find it!
My favorite thing about shed hunting is the fact that you cant screw it up. You can pace back and forth. You don't have to play the wind. You can be loud. You can bring a friend. You can go by yourself. You can bring a dog or not. You can just do whatever. You can do the thing that brought you success the year prior and it won't bring you success every again. There are many ingredients but there is no recipe. Even when you have discovered the recipe it is still not a recipe you can ever use again. It is easy and hard. It seems entirely impossible to find success until you do, then it seems easy. It reminds me to take what we do seriously, but take myself lightly every time and to just enjoy the moments of being outside enjoying outside even if the weather is formidable. It reminds me that life is short, and don't worry about failing.
well put!! I swear the more I do it, the more I realize I dont know much.
On my way shed hunting now! Absolute tank of a shed... I'm so jealous. I love the country and the stories each shed tells. Finding sheds off bulls I have trails camera photos of is the cherry on top! Keep it up 🔥🔥
My favorite part is being in elk country. Ravens croaking is pretty cool too.
The best part of shed hunting is being out in the woods during spring and turkey hunting a great bonus.
35 is your prime. You've got a lot more good years ahead of you. It's the journey not the destination!
My favorite part of shed hunting is being able to be outside with the wife , kids , dogs , and buddies… and being able to hunt turkeys and bears while doing it is a huge plus …
spot on!
Finding the needle in the haystack!
My favorite thing about shed hunting is the mental toughness you go through on the days that you think you just won’t turn something up. Sometimes when you hit those lows you’ll turn around the next tree and find a shed and you’re back on that high!
gotta love the highs and lows!
My favorite part of shed hunting is the low barrier to entry.
My favorite part about shed hunting is that it is always shed season!
haha. Couldn't agree more!
Finding sheds!!!!!
Love the pictures of the feathers. Congratulations Steven on growing older...
wiser with age, I hope! But also more achy.
Awesome Video!! I am glad that the gun finally went off! My favorite part about shed hunting is watching my wife find some bones!
Thank you!
You never know what you’ll find!
Dang, the shed your wife found is huge!! What an awesome day
she has a way of finding the big ones!
My favorite parts of shed hunting are 1. Doing it with my family, and 2. Trying to find multiple years off of the same bulls and bucks!
It's pretty cool building history with a critter!
It’s a grown man’s Easter egg hunt. You never know what you might stumble onto
indeed it is!
Best part about Shed hunting means I’m most likely hunting. Bears or turkeys
That is a pretty sick shed! 🤙
Some awesome shots in here! 0:44 7:01

🤣 "Only 25 more years" 🤣 LOL, I'm there and saying the same thing. However, you are correct, a bit behind on the prevention curve. Better get on that. 😁
haha. on second thought, hopefully another 35 more years!
Favorite part about shed hunting is a truckload of meatloaf at the end of a long day. In all seriousness I love getting to know what bulls are out there for the fall hunts.
Meatloaf is certainly nice icing on the cake!
The first 3 seconds after you spot a shed and watching someone find their first shed or first big shed!
those are great moments!
Nice!
Thanks!
Favorite part, Shed hunting never ends …
Its always shed season!!
@@StevenDrakePhoto meatloaf after a long day of meatloaf is a great dinner as well 🤣
Best part about shed hunting…. Hunting bears while looking for horns.
dual pursuit!
Love road meatloaf

Favorite part of shed hunting? It's a great excuse to get out and explore new country, or return to your favorite spots. Least favorite part? Ticks.
oh I HATE ticks!!! Devil bug!
@@StevenDrakePhoto Permetherin for me and Frontline for the dogs, and we still only made it 40 yards before I found the first one! 😅🫤😖
