This is fun to watch. Game seems a lot easier when you start the levels back up with all the powers so far. That stun seemed super useful in almost every level
But Monkey Business will never be easy. (Yes, even despite being the first level)

It won't. The only reason chapter 4 took long was because the other chapters had their assets made a long time ago so all they had to do was add them in but chapter 4 didn't so they had to make chapter 4's from scratch. And covid also played a role as well as the chapter being huge with 3 large levels which each have bosses. And they only have one coder on their team (Nixson). That's why with chapter 5 they already begun to make the models and assets from now so it doesn't happen again. Plus they said chapter 5 will be much smaller. And DD is a very detailed heavy game and they don't want any bugs like last time with chapter 3.
@@elijahsmall5873 they also are making all the other chapters WITH chapter 4, which is why it’s taking so long. Another is that they’re revamping some of the levels.

@@sourlem531 I think they might be talking about how dark deception might become the second yandere simulator. As in it won’t ever be finished and the creator might be trying to make as much money as they can off of it before just throwing the whole game away(like yandere Dev).

this work is a best thing i see
for the people that are saying things like "im quitting DD because chapter 5 will probably take 1.5 or 2 years" or something like
that , for chapter 1 , 2 and 3 , they had everything prepared , assets ecc , chapter 4 took a lot of time because :
1 - they made 3 levels , which is already much since chapter 2 and 3 have only 2 levels
2 - these levels had 3 phases each and 3 bosses at a level
3 - they had to remove all the bugs in the previous levels and revamp them
4 - they nerfed gold watchers level
5 - in mama bear level they even took our powers away from us
6 - COVID took a big role in this
and vince said that chapter 5 will be a lot smaller , so i think it will take max 1 year for chapter 5

@@Lkz2018 Now I understand. It's like a Hot Wheels AcceleRacers Racing Realm. The skill for the Sewer Realm is to know which monsters are real and which monsters are fake. When you win first place, you earn a Sewer AcceleCharger called Telepathy. It will help you spot the real monsters.
