To be honest I probably sold Like nine off this bikes and people like them cos of size and look but about engine quality they somewhere in a middle I find common problems or this bike is fuel problems vacuum and pistons so some cases transmission not the best but also not the worst have to take more attention to bike and service regularly still like the bike and great for the price
Thanks for this video I've just got a gt125rc and it was leaking from the chain tensioner and when I replaced it I didn't sort the tension out and it jump I was lucky as I followed this video for rear timing and now my engine is running. Also what engine bolts into these for the best performance. Thanks again

Be careful people with the time chain tentioners they break and apparently hyosung was doing recall because of them failing apart the reason I am saying it because I am rebuilding bike with cam chain tentioner failure caused the valves to bend and cam shaft snapped in half . The tentioner has got spring that snaps and loses the tention causing the chain to become loose and jumps over on the cam shaft changing its position and than impact of the piston with valves . I Hope this comment might help anyone I will be putting manual cam chain tentioners , the motorcycle has got barely 10k miles on the clock .....
is there any diference between rear and front SPROCKETS? or between intake and exhoust sprockets? why the sprockets are not available separetly, and you need to buy a whole assy?
tapijas good question!! Front cylinder and rear cylinder they are the same cam and sprocket just marking points will be different if you really need that information I can make a quick video?! Intake and exhaust sprocket are same but to remove tham first is you need to get bearing off! You can get tham separate but not easy to find try hyosung website or get sprocket for different bike just to make sure they will fit there is some in eBay!!if you need any engine parts in Uk I can give you contacts for best prices second hand!? It happens suddenly, no symptoms I had like some kind of noise or similar. I also had to change a timing chain and magneto gasket. My bike is 2008 Aquila 250 EFI
Yes affortunet tensioners can make a big problem!first check the piston and valves if they are ok Or you did already? I would you to suggest just to try get second hand or brand new cams with sprockets if you can.. because if you will be able to find just sprockets you need to remove bearings and replace with new ones so x2 sprockets and bearings all x4 that could cost you maybe just a little bit less but more work and bearings can be pain in a**...
now I'm conused. Why should I need a new bearings? The repairing man never mentioned it. Can I just return the old ones? I noticed that ref. number of bearings matches with suzuki psrts. It's probably compatibile because hyosung was making machines under suzuki license. In Croatia there is no hyosung official hyosung service :(
tapijas well if you get them easy off there should be no problem and you don’t have to change tham if you don’t want to..just my self if there is opportunity to change tham I do than I know the parts are new and should go for much longer! And yes suzuki parts should be fine for hyosung same company guy created the engine!

Hi what brand is your bike and have many miles bike did ??Could be just a piston ring usually when smokes are coming on piston oil ring is broken or just old if the oil gets to cylinder together with petrol usually give the smoke and metal noise And when you check piston just also check valve on a bottom of the cylinder if there is any Gup should not be
And pls take note: When adjusting the valves on the front cylinder, you turn the engine clockwise. When adjusting the rear cylinder, you turn it anti-clockwise. Else you will break your engine if you start it without doing so. Also, when you have adjusted the valves on both cylinders, turn the engine clockwise and make sure it there is no blockage before starting it up. Good luck, hope you get it to run!

First If you can open your cylinder heads only x4 screws and check the crankshaft chain and check if one of them are not loose? To me sounds like is piston one off the cylinders I would give 80% that’s the problem! But do you hear we’re the noise coming from??
Maximum is 1.5L if you change oil filter first put 1.1L and run for some time check your level and ad more if you need don’t put straight 1.5L do slowly to get to right level because if you put to much you can damage gaskets and engine that will cost money

sallamaçay if you got one of cylinders making noise you can check clearance on second cylinder if that cylinder is in working condition!! And you will get clearance measure from there if you know what I mean?! Hopefully that will help.. if not than will try something else!!
Sir I have some issue...my bike is aquila gv250 my front cylinder is not working..i check front head value tapad timing every thing is okay.. injector properly inject fuel and spark plug spark current but cylinder is not working only rear cylinder working...if i remove rear cylinder coil wire then bike goes off...and same as front cylinder bike start and off instantly..so please help me...one thing my bike is gv250 and my bike ecu is gt250r but same engine only body change
Hmmm that’s interesting if injectors work properly and you got good blue colour spark and compression in cylinder I am sure it should work but could be some issue with timing chain maybe jump for a teeth or for some reason under compression spark disappear did you did any kind of work before it happened if not have did you suspect the front cylinder don’t work
@@rameshbmaw3834 guys go for ride if you can or run bike for good time and check if the cylinder you think not working is warm because rear cylinder will be always warmer then front if is completely cold then do this steps...first check if there is constant spark in blue colour second make sure there is fuel going to cylinder have to be same in both cylinders 3rd compression in cylinder if this all is fine then I think you got problem with timing chain not a big deal but still a bit work to do just let me know have you do will try to help more

vcmrco.O 1st use screw in the tensioner to make chain loose than kind lift chain up between cam sprockets and try to spin adjust correctly sprocket were should be marking position 2 first than pull chain tight and place on that sprocket and than do tensioner side adjust sprocket position 3 and place chain on a top but make sure is not loose Than hold your hand on chain and realise tensioner spin engine couple times make sure going smoothly and if needed try to screw more in tensioner! Hopefully will help and also always start with side were is no tensioner if struggling can do some quick video
If is ticking could be your tensioner!! What position you mean timing position if timing would be wrong you could not start a bike or cylinder would be stuck for wrong alignment

@@ozgurdelibas872 yes of course you can buy there is new ones in ebay from USA but shipping charges are very expensive but what I did it’s a cheapest way is to buy some smashed up GV250 and just take engine out you can buy all bike like very bad body or damaged and just take engine out and that cost me just 350£ end rest of the bike use on parts or just scrap it check ebay Facebook marketplace or try to find some auctions we’re you can buy damaged bikes I think that’s the best option and also the cheapest one also you can try to look in COPART auction I am sure you have them in France as well
Tensioner mate have to be replaced there is two types one adjust manually and one is same like yours is up to you which one you want I suggest manual one but you have to be careful to make sure you don’t do to tight the chain if you know what I mean
Sorry so is it locked or what’s happened? When you adjust your letters F ad R put something long in to the spark plug hole and make sure when you turn camshaft to adjust letter pistons are on top if you know what I mean!
First make sure there is fuel going to cylinder is it bike starts even badly ?? Because sometimes there is problem with fuel not going properly to cylinder and also spark ?!! If all good check your magneto rotor there is marks F and R letter f for front cylinder and r for rear make sure they much up!! Just tell me full story what you did with bike and what’s happened and also brand

Ali Alcala Hi if your tensioner is still in working condition than remove 10mm bolt from tensioner and try to push more in sometimes they not going in till the end.. but if will not work there is another way to do try to spin slowly camshaft and as soon chain is tight release tensioner but you have to make sure when you move camshaft you hold the chain tight to cam sprockets so chain is not moving again always just put marking points just in case .. R91MOTORS TWOWHEELS when you take the gas tank and air filter off. All those exposed lines that run from the carb, gas tank , air filter and where do they connect to the fuel pump and the vacuum pump I think that’s what it is like just ever fuel and vaccum line from point A to B. Thank you!
Well steps are pretty easy just put your adjustment points on correct position you can see on video put your chain on sprockets and do up your tensioner!! Thanks for comment

Check your cdi box. Controls the spark to the coils for the spark plugs. Or possibly carburetor issues.

Valve clearance:
Intake; 0,10-0,20.
Exhaust; 0,20-0,30.
And pls take note:

What need to do if exhaust shaft not aligned properly

The cams are what the chain is attached to on the sprockets.
I set the cams to the same points like u said but my engine is now or just lije before it is still locking

If it's wrongly done, how long will it take for the engine to break a valve.? Mine started and after idling for 10 min, it broke the exhaust valve

Well steps are pretty easy just put your adjustment points on correct position you can see on video put your chain on sprockets and do up your tensioner!! Thanks for comment
