Cvetan, Mindaugas, Engin, John, Rustam they are all magicians on the table. So much you can learn by watching them pull. Everytime I watch these guys I learn something. Such a treat to my eyes watching their perfect coordination and synchronisation of multiple muscle groups at once.
i think his arm does not supinate more than 30 degrees and his bicep does not open more than that angle. So basically he is bonelocking his bicep and pronation strength
@@Lagia7 It goes more open when it's being pushed open, but I bet in a neutral position with no force being applied to it, it probably has a hard time straightening that much without load.
Yeah, I don't know about match of that year. Cvetan has similar wars all the time. It wasn't close really, after the match stopped Alan was just desperately trying to delay the inevitable he has no tools to beat KM, Cvetan because of elbow injury can't really finish sideways so he has to just wait until opponent gives up, the only way he would lose was if biased reffs did something stupid again like previous AMCs. No wrist, zero hand control from Alan...Cvetan dominated
@@AndriaJakhveladze I disagree. But ofc, its all subjective. Cvetan already had one elbow foul and alan was able to get his shoulder behind. Gashevski’s lost that way before. He was almost about to gas at the end too. But Alan just would not concede. Like you said, hes been screwed before, yet he still pulled it off. Thats what made it a great match.
For sure. That title gets thrown around loosely. But this match had the highest level, was a total WAR, the most exciting, and uncertainty of its outcome. Alan really looked like he was about to turn it around. It had everything.
In two matches Zoloev went from the real #1 in the 75kg category to being beaten by a guy that isn’t even ranked in the top10 at evw. Says a lot about how we make assumptions and how competitive the category is
@@gabrielepumo9784 lol. Cvetan Gashevski is one of the greatest. Top 5 for me. 75-80kg is just the toughest class. Alan losing to one of the greats does not discredit his status. Still a beast.
^ what this guy said. If he was allowed to compete, he’d be top 5 for sure…. I agree tho, Alan went from being #1 p4p (IMO!) to not top 5 p4p with these loses. He’s still a beast but I expected him to beat Daniel and Cvetan easily.
It kinda wasn't malicious intent to screw with cvetan. Cvetan accidentally put his shoe onto Alan's so he kicked it away to get his foot off of his but the russian athletes are so uptight and protective of their shoe sponsors they don't want them to get dirty or ruined at any cost

Gashevski one of the goats

I noticed how nice Cvetan is in every setup. It seems like he takes a very basic grip and does 0 loading

Gashevski is the GOAT open arm toproller. He's had 33+ years practice..... He's not in EvW. I'd like to see him pull Mindaugus Tarasaitis at 77kg.
