    Is it possible to create a family plan within the same city or district as we live apart

      Not within the rules, but it's not like they'll knock on your door and check if you actually gave your real address.

    Hey i activated a family plan and one of the members is not able to join. It says "application error: a client side exception has occured"

    My payment keeps failing when I’m trying to subscribe. I can’t pay via PayPal or with different credit cards. What can I do ? I’ve also asked friends to create me an account and paying it to me but they got the same issues

      Hi! If your friends are experiencing issues as well, it might be a temporary hiccup in the system. Our tech team will surely be right on top of it. We recommend trying again after 24hrs.     I got added to a family plan and while it says on the Spotify website I now have premium the app still says I’m a free user. I tried logging out and logging back in but nothing has changed

      Hi! Make sure that the owner of the Family plan added the correct account to the subscription. Best to double check your account details and have them resend the invite. If you're still having difficulties afterwards, reach out to our CS team: spoti.fi/caresCS

    Hey gang, so I set up my Spotify on the family plan and my mother has accepted the invite but she pays her premium by PayPal. Does she need to cancel her PayPal direct debit or will it be automatically stopped? Any help would be great ☺️

      Hey Dani! As you're the Family Plan manager, all payments will now be made by you. Billing for yourself and any plan member you invite will switch automatically, so there is no need for your mum to cancel her direct debit. Hope this helps 🙂

    Actually I’m having an issue with inviting people of my family, when I send them the invitation and they put the address it shows up saying the address it’s not correct even though it’s the same address!
    If you don’t mind giving a tip I would appreciate it, even though I appreciate your video very helpful 😊

      Hi Enea! If they input the address wrong one time, that result might've become stuck in the browser's cache, so it might be worth to ask your members to use an incognito window when trying again. Additionally, the addresses really need to be identical - check if there are any spaces at the end that might've snuck in or similar. Keep us posted!

    If I already have a premium account and get added to a family plan do I still keep all my old preferences and playlists?

      Hi there! Everyone on a Family subscription continues to use their own personal account, with their library, playlists and everything else as they're used to. They just join the Family subscription plan and the billing gets taken care of by the plan manager.

    Can the other people on the spotify plan/plan manager see your username/profile picture on spotify?

      Hi! Other people on the plan, including the plan manager are able to see everyone else's Display Name and their profile picture if they navigate to their Account Overview page > Manage Members. In general, Spotify accounts are public, so other Spotify users can also search for you and view your profile. You do however have full control on what you want to share on it, can for example hide your listening activity, recent artists and your follower and following lists, as well as make your playlists private.     I am trying to add family members but there is no option to add members? Anywhere... So I don't know what's going on, can you please reply to this and help?

      Hi Liam, help's here! First things first - make sure you're logged into the correct account and that you're the Family plan manager. Open up www.spotify.com/us/account/overview/ and check if you're on Premium Family. If you're the plan manager, you should see the option "Manage your family accounts" as one of the first ones listed on the site. Clicking it will allow you to invite and remove members. Here's a direct link to that dashboard as well: www.spotify.com/account/family/invite/. If you don't see that option you might be logged into the wrong account, ensure you're logging into the account that has you Family subscription.     I got a problem on Spotify premium family I got invitation link but when I type in the same location it shows nothing so I would appreciate some help

      Hi! We rely on Google Maps data for the address choices. It could be that this isn't properly loading up. Try accepting the invite from a different device (other phone or a pc/mac/laptop) and make sure the browser isn't blocking any parts of the website. Let us know if it worked out.
