Nobody on the planet sings this song better than Mori
the original singer Lauren has just done a different version for new americas got talent 2024 . Has this new bigger vocal version for the contest and Lauren slams out of the park. Laurens voice has such full resonances and power. Morrissette is very good, but Laurens emotion and power on this new version shows why they picked her for this song. Lauren has phenomenal range and control than people give her credit. I do luv Morrissette though she is a power house.

Mori absolutely took it to another level by adding that glissando at the end, and Loren was smart enough to incorporate it in her version.
However, that key change took it to another level (until Mori does it), lol.🎉

Love your reaction to my queen Morissette,when you try to compare her with others know that Loren has a 2 1/2 to 3 octave vocal range.Morissette has 5-6 octave 4 note vocal range with an A6 whistle with runs and words in it and she can whistle at any time,they are both good singers in their own way.I love her squeaks and if you want to know what I mean watch (Naririnig mo ba)wish bus and try to figure out how she does it nobody else can.

She sang much much better than the original. Actually they already collab with Loren Alred in Mori's Tiktok and Loren following Mori in her channel.
To me, Mori's greatness is cemented in her covers of "Fly Like a Bird" and "Defying Gravity". For a totally different flavor, try "Akin Ka Na Lang" or "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw".
Just make sure that it's the "Live Band" version of "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw".....by FAR the better version.

Yes, for squeaks galore, Naririnig Mo Ba is a must watch. Also Akin ka na Lang, Shine and Gusto ko nang Bumitaw have some lovely squeaks out there not to mention her whistles specifically in Akin Ka na Lang . She's the queen of squeaks (if I'm not mistaken she's the only one who can do this) and they are lovely to listen to besides her being a vocal beast as well. All on the Wish Bus.
