    Pull off the plastic housing of the plug first, rather easy. Than you can desolder all 3 pins one after the other, grab with tweezer or small pliers, melt solder and pull out the pin. Much easier. If you need the plug afterwards (btw, they are crapcheap), you can reassemble them.
    Nice video!

    much easier way to remove the motor tabs. Simply push the edge of the tab to create a tiny gap between the edge and the fc then slide a tiny flat blade in the gap and wobble it slightly back and fourth the connector slides right off and you can simply pry the pins off with a small needle nose plies. Takes less than 2 minutes to do all four.

    hi, may I ask what is the max distance if you use the Y antenna for the vtx?

    • @sp8rk
      @sp8rk  5 лет назад

      Hi, I changed it to a dipole as it wasn't a real improvement, and it added a few more grams, the vtx is on 200mw and with the dipole it works just fine, don't bother with the Y antenna (my opinion)

    cost of this build? Can you compare this one to the new eachine red devil? thanks

      About £110 , you could swap out the camera and vtx to an all in one to save a little , but I like the higher quality motors , and 3 cell is not worth it , as they can burn the esc's and destroy the bi props if you prefer using those :/

    Would you use the 16x16 iflight stack on this

      Yeah, I think that would be ok, a lot of people have had issues with the crazybee boards so great option:) I have stuck a capacitor on my xt 30 plug on my crazybee with no issues :)
