I think the best part of Adrian's videos is his frequent looking directly at the camera. While for a professional actor, that would be absurdly incompetent, it somehow works for Adrian, in an absurdly incompetent way.
This is called intellectual humor. It isn't crude, it's not demeaning, it isn't racist or homophobic or misogynistic etc. It helps if you know the context of the jokes; the history, the anatomy etc. He's very clever and I find him absolutely hysterical. Wish there were more like him. What a rare and wonderful mind!
Yeah, so high brow ~ far too complicated for the masses.. If you don't love this stuff, simply you're not pretentious enough.. oops I meant intellectual 😆 so go back to eating your walkers crisps because this is special humour for those who nibble on kettle crisps... This is fantastic!! every detail, from the background to the costumes OH THE COSTUMES!! his facial expressions, his hand positioning, his innocent looking adorable eyes frequenting the fourth wall (on a regular basis i might add lol!) THIS IS WHAT A CIRCUS LOOKS LIKE OH ROMAN LEADERS. ENTERTAIN US. GIVE US BREAD. AND MORE MORE MORE ADRIAN BLISS!!
The tunnel just took me! 🤣🤣😍 The level of clever is unparalleled here. I wish there was an award we could award him because he deserves just such an award!
Idk about anyone else but I can't get enough of him! He's my absolute favorite person to watch, everything he does is fantastic, funny, clever, entertaining, the Noah ones crack me up no matter how many time I watch them, somebody else in the comments mentioned and thanked him for being who he is without having to be crude. I'd like to devluge that that is so true and another reason that I love his content.
If Adrian would ever read this... You are doing a marvelous job by making people smile in this difficult time. Other youtubers should really learn from you what content really means. Thank you for making me smile @adrianbliss
In a way Romeo and Juliet is historically accurate because women weren't allowed to perform in theatre so she really would be played by a slightly awkward young man
He's so careful at putting those little details like at 5:25 when he looks at the pigeon's direction while mentioning it and the pigeon wasn't even revealed
So many years ago we were promised a sequel to history of the world and my vote is that Adrian should write the screenplay and send it in can't think of anyone better to tell history the way he does and it all makes sense 💃🐶🥰💕🥸 🌎💚🌍💚🌏
So brilliant and talented, I can and have watched Adrian for HOURS. I think it is AMAZING, that I find something else new the more rewatch a video. What an amazing eye for detail. I Still would LOVE to spend an entire day with Adrian. ADRIAN BLISS, THAN
All his videos are to die for ... with very good humor. You can actualy understand it and have fun while watching them. This is what a clever artist does. Very good job indeed 👏👏👏
Dear, dear Adrian, You, my dear, have the most impenetrable eyes I've ever seen in my life!!! Thanks for ALL your work! Love from across the water, Eileen 💜💗💜
Your videos are amazing, such a way of, I don't know, just grasping life and making it entertaining. Love the fourth wall breaking on each, very well placed, which makes them even funnier. Each time a new one comes I know it'll be great... BTW, the other guests at the inn was superb.
My favorite part about Adrian is his creativity and originality. I love how he portrays every character he plays and how he makes the scenes look so good that it rarely looks edited. I love this man's content so much, it's so stress relieving ❤❤❤
Love this guy's comedy. His mannerisms remind me of a young Frank Spencer, for all the British people watching. I think the first one would also have been good using Æthelred the Unready (a real king, from early mediaeval England who died in 1016), using the modern interpretation of unready. Originally "unræd" meant "poorly "advised", & it was a pun because Æthelred means "well advised". He was the father of Edward the Confessor (so called because he was very religious & confessed his sins a lot), whose death led to Harold Godwinson ascending the throne as the last crowned Anglo-Saxon king of England. King Harold had to face the Norman Conquest, when William stole the throne after the Battle of Hastings, an unfair fight as Harold had just fought & beaten a Norwegian invasion, led by Harald Sigurdsson in the north of the country. (Sigurdsson was Harald III of Norway, known as Harold Hadrada in the sagas, who had fought the Danes, & lost, in 1064, 2 years before attacking the English, & losing). Harold King of England had to fight Hadrada's army at the Battle of Stamford Bridge on 25 September 1066, & march quickly down to the south to fight William's army at the Battle of Hastings on 14 October 1066.
I really like your stuff, it made and makes me laugh a lot. But tbh I don't get this "Henry the 8th" Jokes about beheading people. Your jokes about him give you the feeling that he did that all the time, day and night. But actually it only really happened 2 to 3 times, depending on the source you want to believe. I think the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland wouldn't feel taken seriously here by comparison :)
Nerdy comment: John was actually called John Lackland, because as the youngest of several sons he wasn't expected to inherit much land (although he did become king so hey that isn't too bad)
It's "wherefore art thou, Romeo". Wherefore is an old word for why. Juliet wasn't asking where Romeo is, she was asking why the boy she fell in love with was Romeo, because he came from the enemy of her family.
literally had 2 watch this 2 times ☕️ 2 see what could of maybe missed / seen better2 either laugh or felt sorry 😞 For them all going thru such life....
"We are really nice", LOL Adrian is so adorable!

I like how this compilation implies that there was a *real, historical* Romeo and Juliet, *and* they forgot their lines xD
There were real, historical *actors* who performed Romeo and Juliet in history, you know?
_Mark Antony and Cleopatra in the distance_
There were! D. Pedro and Inês de Castro.
They were. Romeo and Juliet is a play. 😂
I loved his attention to detail in using Juliet's Balcony from Verona!
I think the best part of Adrian's videos is his frequent looking directly at the camera. While for a professional actor, that would be absurdly incompetent, it somehow works for Adrian, in an absurdly incompetent way.
Adrian has vastly impenetrable eyes...
Always noticed this about him...
What Adrian doing is pretty absurd tbh
I think of it as watching a middle school production where the kids are always checking to see if the audience is still paying attention 😆
@@analise17 Or if mom and dad are watching.

I love his accent, his smoothie voice, slowed down sentences n all

100% agree
Adrian has such a laid back approach to history!
And such a quirky perspective to focus on.

you've got to admit though, swearing is pretty fucking funny.
