2 years and 3 months after i had j-pouch surgery, i can say it works for me, 1 or 2 times a day i go to the toilet, i eat everything, it is like i never had colitis, i have my life back.
Amazing to share this experience, this will help others going through the same thing. Glad you are now feeling a little better ❤️ after such an ordeal!
My heart goes out to you, the surgery and post-surgery both sound as though they made for quite the ordeal 🥺Quite impressed that you were able to put your best foot forward for a post-op vlog after all of that! Although your hospital room looked lovely with the tree print, we are glad that you are home safe with Pooh Bear and recovering well. Take it slow and keep healing!
Thank you so much Tim, I had planned on a clip when I came back to the ward but I was in much too much pain at the start, I barely remember calling Leo of the night time, he said that I called him around 10pm to day I was back and slightly awake but I told him I was going to be sick and hung up on him! But he called the ward and spoke to the nurses to check I was ok which is a plus! Poog Bear is keeping an eye on me!
Your amazing! I am so happy for you 🥹! I think you will love ❤️ the end results! It is always hard going through surgery and yours have been extensive! Your awesome! Keep up the positivity and bravery! Your inspiration!
My poor girl ❤ I had major surgery (pancreas and spleen removed) and cannot begin to imagine the pain without morphine! So glad that they eventually put you a drip in xxx take care and here’s to a quick recovery ❤
I’m 100% with you in the needle thing, hate them in general but injecting myself would be my worst nightmare. Glad you got through everything ok. Best of luck for your recovery xx
Thank you for this video I am going through ulcerative colitis recently and have a worry about how it will proceed so thank you for the information and I love your videos on loungefly 🎉 keep doing what you doing love it
Hey, I am still waiting for the connection surgery, so I have the pouch but its not connected yet so I am still with a stoma for now, fingers crossed I can have the surgery soon!
Hi, I hope you're well. I have been diagnosed with the following. I hope you can explain..."To confirm ulcerative proctits... severe, active, chronic, pan-mucosal mucin depletion and basal plasmacytosis. No granulomas. The appearance is consistent with active proctitis of ulcerative colitis type." Are you able to explain this for me, please? I had 18 biopsies taken when i had my colonoscopy. I tried to ask the doctor to tell me without a medical background, but I didn't understand. I'm relying on Google and youtube. I have been referred to primary care which he said will be within 4 weeks time, which I do not know why. Please help. Thank you .
Heya, proctitis normally means the rectum, so not just your colon but the rectum too will have inflamation in it. I would imagine the severe means its very active and they want to get it under control as soon as they possibly can. I would hope they will explain it better in your next appointment and give you lots of treatment options. I hope that helped a bit :)
It's a lot to take in,crying over "silly" things happens . I know the days post hospital being " done". Frustrating i know, Pasta was, is my go to. Funny question, did your kitties do the stank face? 😂 mine used to😂
They did, that squinty eye face and they kind of go back into their necks to get away!! Pasta is just so easy to eat and always seems like a safe choice doesnt it! Thank you so much x
@@HannahEnchanted You're welcome. yes and it's filling! I love when the kittys " get stuck " and it's like you can see the processing their brains are trying to do😂😂. So hard not to laugh after tummy surgery! So glad key holes are an option. Also the bladder thing... completely normal. It's saying " wtf"🤣🫶
@@meganlovesdisneyandcrafts4780 Its so funny, you can see they are trying to decide what to do and if they want to suddenly run off or stay where they are! Laughin is my enemy right now, thankfully I havnt sneezed yet either which I am very glad about!
