I failed almost every history class in school but I was in choir and vocal ensembles from 5th grade until I graduated and seeing a Broadway in Chicago musical when I was 16 changed my whole world and I've been obsessed since. But this man has somehow made me enjoy learning about history and actually connect emotionally with these people who built our country and in my book that is a miracle lol
Lin listening to that question in Spanish and answering it back in the same language is so beautiful to me for some reason. It reminds you where he came from. I have absolutely no idea what either of them said but it was touching XD

i don't understand why he keeps saying he's written a part he can't age out of. i mean, a sixty year old (and even younger) can't play that role . . . .
I think that's probably just partly joking haha. At least, the way I took it was that he was emphasizing how he's got plenty of time where he can continue to drop in on the show and it'll be fine. With, say, Usnavi in In the Heights, his age is never technically mentioned but it still works best if the actor playing him is in his 20s (or can pass for 20s) since Vanessa, his love interest, is established to be 19 or 20 and also there's some generational elements to the show. With Hamilton, though, the show covers his life everywhere from ages 19-49, and it's not like there's an actor for "young" Ham and an actor for "older" Ham, so the audience knows they're just meant to go with it and the actor can be anywhere within that age range or a little older. I mean, heck, even Hamilton as a character aside, you have a 20-something guy playing a 9-year-old kid in one song! haha. So it's a lot more lose with the age thing. So nah, he probably won't literally be playing Ham still when he's, like 60/70 years old haha, but he could easily still jump back into the role at any point over the next 20 years or so and it would still be fine, and I think that was what he was getting at :)
