Yeah those rims look sick on it! If the tool is slipping on you when trying to screw the caps back on try the rubber band trick where you lay the rubber band over the cap then use the wrench to tighten them. This also works on screws too. 👍👍
I think I heard to get paint to stick to aluminum really well, you have to scuff it up so the paint has something to bite into. The LEDs and sound/ light kit I ordered showed up, so I'll be wiring up lights for the Redcat Hauler, and trying to find some good audio of a 4-71 Detroit Diesel, preferably with an air starter to use in the truck.
That Blazer looks good! I notice it has one of the Scale Builder's Guild 'Ford' Chevy Emblem front plate stickers! It also seems to have the Mojave/Hilux inner fenders instead of the Blazer ones...I have those inner fenders on my 4 Door hilux and I just cut holes in em to run the GII hoops.
It warms my heart seeing an artistic fabricator put so much effort into what you do. The passion is inspiring. Ps. I think you are far better than that ugly English fellow who just breaks $5000 stuff. Ps. Ps. Where can I find a full set of those wheels?
The wheels are the boom racing 1.55 Yota LC Classics. I personally don't know of many places that sell boom racing's products aside from Asiatees and their own webstore, but they're out there.
Yeah, boom racing is the wheel brand. I just picked up another set on ebay, there are some distributors stateside. I appreciate the kind words, I like to make the best of what I have. Have to take care of it:)
are you using any other supports besides the grub screws for that body? Seems really secure and I was considering doing that for my tundra project if that's the case.
I wish those wheels were available in 1.9 or 2.2 sizes. Does anyone know of a website that might be selling something similar to these wheels (not in 1.55)?
That Blazer looks great. I am totally into the scale+performance builds.

You should look into getting a set of TwistedFabCo leafs for one of your trucks.
The grill looks pretty shiny
One thing you could try is take the inner of the two stage and wrap the stock foam around it. May work. Love the truck
Looking sweet, Love all the scale accessories specially that alarm clock super cool. I’ll watch for the next one

This one still has the body posts in the rear. The blazer body really needs them to keep it straight.

Is that a floor drain in the middle between those tires?
