As a fragrance fanatic and creator myself (coming from Saudi Arabia), that “talco” scent you describe is actually the combination of the musk, rose and citrusy notes coming off as powdery, you will notice that the Rihanna fragrance also shares these three notes 😊 so even if you like perfumes that have these scents individually, you may be picking up on the combined scents! This is because musk is considered a soft oriental olfactory note that is a bit sweet, rose is a true floral scent that has a powdery undertone to it, while the the citrus is a floral fruity scent, hence the combination smelling as it does even when other olfactory notes are present in the fragrances, i found that i only pick up on and continue to smell the scents that i do not really enjoy in a fragrance! So maybe that is also the case with you! hope this helps you with future fragrance purchases!
That's interesting, I have that same issue with Fenty, I definitely knew it was the rose I didnt like. I drown it out by layering it with something masculine like Maison Margiela Jazz Club!

Hi all, FYI, I use The Ordinary glycolic toner. My skin is very very resilient and it helps with armpit odor, I use it at least two times a week. For sensitive people I recommend not going ham with it, use it sparingly and space out the days that you use it because that toner is really strong, start slowly but surely. It can also help lighten armpits because it’s an exfoliant. But, beware nonetheless.
My sister in law told me about this for arm pits and I gave it a try and I have made it through summer using it and no smell. I absolutely love it because no more deodorant stains on my clothes!!

Kathleen, for the Magnesium spray you do not spray it on your armpits directly. You actually do a few sprays right before bed on the tops of your feet! If it burns, it’s an indicator that you are deficient in Magnesium. The burn will go away after a couple of weeks of consistent use though! Keep at it and I’m sure you’ll see positive results! Also, the glycolic acid from the Ordinary is not to be used daily for the underarms either. A few days a week max as it can actually turn your armpits dark if used too often.

I have a completely different hair type than you, but I always always had frizz and little fly aways but a hair stylist had recommended the Living Proof Restore Perfecting Spray and it works AMAZING. I use a decent amount of sprays and can use it even in my bangs to keep the frizz away without them looking greasy (just use less in those areas). I use it when my hair is not fully wet but just towel dry. It makes your hair so soft and smooth it was a complete game changer

It’s a 6ml rollerball that when layered under the spray lasts an absolute eternity!!! I know you said you layer with a body oil but I’m not sure if you know they have this. There’s a few other scents they have in the same format that are incredible, some have the “you know it’s a Middle Eastern perfume smell” and some don’t. Both types have beautiful scents!!! I’ve been meaning to get Yara also, I always forget, this may be my sign!!! ❤❤❤

I started using crystal deodorant and it’s a game changer! I use the spray kind but NO SMELL. I live in Texas where it is hot and humid and I was having to apply normal deodorant multiple times a day and I still smelled. Crystal deodorant. Game. Changer.

My mom and grandmother were taking a chlorella product years ago called Sun Chlorella. It comes in a pill or powder form. Chlorella is great stuff but if you take too much in the beginning and don't build up, you will end up in the bathroom for awhile.
Yara is also a powdery scent but I love it. I also love Lataffa Ansaam Gold though! Yara is a beautiful scent so I don’t want to turn you away from it but it does have a powdery vibe to it. ❤

I agree with the detox. But clean and natural products is real! Most products have fragrances, pfas, known carcinogens, and so much more!

My mom and grandmother were taking a chlorella product years ago called Sun Chlorella. It comes in a pill or powder form. Chlorella is great stuff but if you take too much in the beginning and don't build up, you will end up in the bathroom for awhile.
Yara is also a powdery scent but I love it. I also love Lataffa Ansaam Gold though! Yara is a beautiful scent so I don’t want to turn you away from it but it does have a powdery vibe to it. ❤
