In addition to everythig else (which I agree with..), how about using a cutback saddle to free up his shoulders to help him a little? Thats what those saddles were made for...
There is nothing natural about the way the horse is carrying herself. Tail wrenching, hollowed out back, head lifted unnaturally high.... this horse is being improperly ridden and trained but like most Saddlebreds, she is trying her best. Educate yourself.
I totally agree but not all saddleseat is bad it’s the people that throw them away if they aren’t perfect or sit there and look pretty all the time and don’t make bonds lol 😂
I don't think so either. He still should have her head set on the vertical instead of her lifting up her head. She is trying to get away from the pain of the bit.......she's got her head lifted up unnaturally and that causes her back to hollow out. Her tail wrenching is an indicator of pain and stress.
The rack is a four beat gait and the horse has only one foot on the ground at a time when doing this gait. This video is of a horse that is pacing, not racking.
This makes me so sad. As an owner of 2 saddlebreds and a competitor, I can tell you right now this horse is agitated and in pain. Watch other videos of gaited horses and you’ll see the difference. Also, change your saddle. You’re restricting her shoulder movement. That’s why they make cutback saddles.
How are you (the rider) able to ride smoothly without bouncing all over the place? Usually a person posts while the horse is racking/slow gait, etc. Crazy cool!
@@equestrian_gamer1315 Just out of curiosity... I asked a question about "posting" on a gaited horse; according too you... means I don't know anything about horses? @@hopepazaras1157 I have a gaited saddlebred, which is amazing might I add. I grew up trailriding an appaloosa, non-gaited. My girl was a saddleseat horse; never been outside of an arena. When I first got her, I definitely had a huge learning curve, because the type of horse, and the type I used to ride. unfortunately, I don't have any place to really work on truly riding her, like she was trained. I try doing so, while trailriding, but again... It's not the most effective way to learn. In due time. I'm just glad that she is so patient and loving towards me😊.
@@emmakong7330 thank you, I'lll try applying that when I'm riding my girl. I absolutely love when she racks, but never riding a gaited horse prior, I must say there is a learning curve.😊
THAT HORSE LOOKS SOOOOO SCARED! PLS STOP WITH THIS CHANNEL AND STOP WITH HAVING ANIMALS! IF YOU DONT DO THAT I ALWAYS WIL MAKE HATE COMMENTS IN YOURE VIDEO'S!
To the OP, don't listen to all these trolls, whom don't have anything better to do, besides make nasty comments. All these people know nothing about the saddlebred, and automatically think they are in pain, or mistreated. The horse is in a fast gait... They aren't going to have their ears forward, with this relaxed look on their face. I really amazes me at all the misinformed people out there, when it comes to gaited horses... Or horses in general! You look amazing on this horse.
No one rides well if they are bracing against stirrups with feet way forward leaning against the bit for stability. It has nothing to do with saddlebreds, but how to ride. That poor horse.
Glxpassat, talk about someone who knows nothing about Saddlebreds! Wrong saddle, wrong bridle, wrong bit, wrong chest strap, crappy posture, the entire thing is a joke!
My guy the horse is literally pinning its ears and tossing it’s head from the pain it’s in, the rider is straight up ripping the poor horse’s face off (which is horrible with or without the bit, but can be worse with a bit because your tearing the inside of the horse’s mouth and can sometimes cut off their tongues)… The comment above me is right, too. Rider had his feet way too far forward and the horse had barely any shoulder movement.
@@Taylorstanek716 Yeah I don't think they are saying "sad" about the gait More so the fact that the horses mouth is being ripped apart from that long shanked bit, the riders an idiot and doesnt know how to ride, and the fact that this horses headset is way too high, improperly trained and way too ewe necked. That isn't natural
Oh my goodness stop riding that horse. They deserve better than that :(
I know right.. hers pulling the horses mouth, and it must be so sore on the hooves...
He has to lern horse riding probabley , sit straight and not hanging in the reins, get a proper Saddle for the mare! Horse is in pain yesss!!!👎👎👎
Wow ur legit ripping that horses face off
A lot of stuff going on there but I don’t see what you’re talking about. Be nice.

I'm pretty sure he not training the horse for shows he just have a horse an riding trails with it like a lot of people do

it looks like he's sleeping

Is he/she for sale?
Yes
I want someone to edit thomas the tank engine music over this
This is sad..
Reminds me of Treasure

There is no way that this this movement and type of riding is comfortable for the horse. It's so artificial. Poor thing, it looks miserable.

You don’t post during a slow gate and rack you sit in your bottom
