- In this video I'll be sharing a time lapse of the process I went through to create one of the watercolor illustrations I created for the September calendar I'll be sending out to my newsletter subscribers very soon.
I'll also be sharing why it's so important to be intentional with our art practice. This has been key for me since I started getting serious about improving my art and has allowed me to improve my skills a lot faster.

Hello ! I am very impress by the way you have painted the croissant . I will try to do as well at you did. After a few tryed I was able to paint a brioche Looking not to bad. I will now Have a go for a croissant. I would love to see the way you would paint a "pain au chocolat" or "chocolatine" as we call then in South west France where I live. Could you please give us a demo ?
Hi, Eliette! Thanks so much for watching and for your suggestion. It really means the world. I'm so happy to hear you're painting watercolor food, too!
I'd love to have the time to create all the videos watchers ask me for, but unfortunately I don't. 😅
I had no idea what chocolatines were, but I looked them up and I'd approach the painting process in a very similar way to how I painted this croissant, only the preliminary sketch would be a different shape. Same colors apply, too. I'm sure if you're able to paint a croissant, you'd be able to paint a chocolatine.
I'd recommend finding a great photograph to work from, or taking one yourself. This is key!
Hope this helps. Have a lovely weekend!
hi greetings! this was interesting and we enjoyed watching

Hi! Thanks so much for watching! :) Happy you enjoyed it. Have a lovely week!
hi, what are the names of the colours you used to paint this croissant ? i would like to try it. thanks
Hey, there! I painting this a looong time ago, but I believe it was: Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and Burnt Umber. :)
Hey, guys! What are you currently doing in order to make sure you're continuously improving artistically? Do you ever make time to study your past work and are you aware of your current strengths and weaknesses? I'd love to know! :)
