The melody is a spin off the all-famous "Amazing Grace" of John Newton from 1779. Just with a little beat to it and some chicks shaking it on camera not being able to hold their heads upright! It is not an original melody this is why it still resonates with people.

John Newton wasn't super original and neither is the style of music. Using old rhythmic patterns doesn't make a song less unique.

However, Never Ever is a spin off of Amazing Grace, a version, another modified and popularized little tune. All you need is ears and rhythm to figure it out
