At 12 he has not experienced enough failures and come backs to fully grasp the weight of that concept, let alone to have experienced it himself. It does not minimize what he knows but it's false humility to say he has experienced enough to speak on failure. 0-5yrs old, science says a person will not have much recollection of this period because of the brain development. So technically he is only speaking about the past 7yrs of his life. And whatever personal failure he has experienced is relevant to his age not enough to speak to the principle of a come back. The rest of the book we don't know, but on this concept that was read to us....that's not something he has experienced but heard and told about.
@@ree1993 You've deviated from the point I'm trying to raise...think of it as just like making a movie or writing a song, there's so many ways you can write a book..could be based on personal life experiences, fictional characters or narrating people's experiences it can be a story about life lessons narrated as either "I" in that case the writer refers to themselve or "He/She" referring to the assumed character.
