Hello, Sv. Ilija surely!!! Bast _ Sv. Ilija is one of the most beautiful tours on Biokovo...in summer a lot, a lot of water, at least 4 l and more...🏔👋
@@ivancuric7499 Hvala lepa for a rapid response. How about doing a roundtrip Bast Osičine Sv Ilija and continue the ridge and then before Šćirovac going down south through Topol Mandrova Ploca either to Topići or Bast directly. I heard that paths from Topići are not well maintained and very likely to lose the path there. Is it that bad? I am quite experienced hiker and have 1:25000 Biokovo Croatian map. Hvala lepa i pozdrav iz Poljske
@@sawekk1429 My suggestion is Bast_Osičine_Sv. Ilija and back the same route. planinarenje.hr/staze/bast-ps-osicine-sveti-ilija?odrediste=sveti-ilija-biokovo This second part is also well marked but a lot of hikers especially foreigners get lost ... Two years ago a mountaineer from Poland got lost there, they never found him, he was an experienced mountaineer. Already 5 mountaineers have lost their lives on that section ... Biokovo should always be taken seriously
@@ivancuric7499 Yes, I know about that Polish guy, read about it. For us Croatian mountains are quite hard because of lack od water, very sharp rocks and bushes and devastating sun in the summer. But I like to start my hikes 3-4am and be back around noon. I have never hiked this part od Biokovo but once I hiked Sutvid from Zivogosce further south. I will follow your advice, if the time is ok I will maybe visit also Culica and Motika same day. Have a good night and thanks.
@@sawekk1429 Sutvid is in relation to Sv. Ilija a few classes lighter ... definitely carry a lot of water in the summer. I brought 4 l and I ran out of water on Ilija ... If you need any information or help for any mountain in the region I will be happy to help. Good luck ... you will be delighted with the view from Ilija😃
