I just got my first human hair wig because I cut my hair short af due to damage. I cried so my mom said get a human hair wig. I just got her today & need to wash her 😔 could I use dawn n then this moisturizing wig spray I have??
Yes you can use dawn! Just deep condition the hair and add heat protectant if you’re using hot tools. If you have a curly wig, add a leave in conditioner as well. Treat it the same as your hair. I personally just use cheaper products.
its a great tutorial dont get me wrong but you shouldnt use dhampoo or conditioner for human hair on synthetic wigs since synthetic wigs are plastic the shampoo and conditioner add to the build up on the wig and will shorten its life
Good point! Synthetic fibers have a range of quality, just like human hair. Let’s use clothing to compare to synthetic fibers. You would wash your clothes with laundry detergent (shampoo), and maybe put fabric softener(conditioner) or some substance in the wash water to soften your clothing. Same thing for synthetic hair. It can be plastic (low quality) like you stated and cause build up in the hair. However, some synthetics are premium blends that include human or remy hair; having the same affect on the synthetic hair as it does human hair. This video in particular is based on a human hair wig, and how to bring it back to its original state.
