I’m going with the Ohio State. Love the ROC boys analysis, no favoritism, you’re not letting your heart cloud your analysis, that’s why you’re my favorite podcast for College Football. Fight On!
Whats wild is if they didn’t expand the playoff we would have never even got this matchup . Ohio state and notre dame both would have missed out on the 4 team playoff
@@AkshatShekhar-d7b You mean ND would have made it at 11-1. tOSU would have been out at 10-2. What might have happened is tOSU would've beat Michigan, playing like their season depended on it, knowing they wouldn't get it at 10-2, which they wouldn't have. ND is a big TV draw, and would have got in at 11-1. I don't know, UGA, Oregon, Texas, ND. Something like that. Maybe PSU instead of Texas. When it's only four teams they just pick the teams they want, that you can make a reasonable argument for. And they would have wanted ND at 11-1. Now with 12 all the 'deserving' teams make it in, plus a handful of others, and it's just an awesome four rounds of CFB.
Ohio St has an explosive passing game but aren’t the dominant offensive that many people think. Their offense has scored 21 or in 4 games already. I think this is going to be another ND vs UGA or ND vs PSU game than a OSU vs Tennessee game.
If your saying Ohio State isn't an explosive offense what do u call Notre Dame's offense lol. Cant throw the ball, no explosive playmakers, below avg online, only offense is running a slow qb
@CoolKid-mg9bo Leonard has far better sack avoidance than Howard. He's the best at avoiding sacks in college football, that's why Notre Dame made it this far with an O line that's bad at pass blocking.
Do your saying Leonard picked the more NIL money? Because if it was a football decision who would pick the option with no wr's and no where close to proven offensive production of Day and Chip. His nfl evaluation has dropped since playing for Notre Dame lol
You people really have Notre Dame scoring 21 points? Who else has all year? Oregon that’s all and Notre Dame offense is definitely nothing like the ducks
Come on, guys. This is a horrible match-up for the ND. Enough said if you're a CFB nonbiased fan. I'm from Georgia and can see the writing on the wall, especially with injuries.
Guys, this is just a bad matchup for ND. Just keep it real. How can a one-dimensional team like this stay within 14 of the Buckeyes? And then this is a team that relies on man-coverage schemes? You don’t think the Buckeyes will carve that up in a million different ways? This isn’t a homer take. Just look at the matchup and strengths/weaknesses. Just a terrible matchup for ND unless they change their entire identity in 10 days. I think ND is a great team who’s earned all they’ve gotten. But they matchup extremely poorly against this specific Buckeye team…
This is exaclty how people were talking before osu played Michigan. I agree that ND doesn't match up well against osu but there is a reason why we play these games.
Yeah I think Texas was tailor made to stop Ohio State, they excel in zone coverage, great secondary, great D line, they had all the film from Ohio State’s fully unleashed offense in the first 2 playoff games but they still couldn’t get it done. Notre Dame’s offense is going to look horrible against that Ohio State D.
I’m a ND fan. I don’t see a way we win this. There is always a chance, but Ohio is stacked on defense and offense. Doesn’t help notre dame has been ravaged by injury. Some positions they’re working with 3rd string players.

Eh, ND would have. Committee was *much* more protective of conference championship losers in this format ranking wise

Don't forget will Howard was Ohio States back up plan for the portal. They wanted Riley Leonard first
Good thing we didn't take him. He wouldn't have beat the gauntlet we had to go threw.
So glad we didn’t get him Leonard wouldn’t have survived what Howard has

Notre Dame is going to need divine intervention.
Don't knock it touch down Jesus moves around!

OSU BY 24 Go Bucks
But I love the Rudy movie
Top 2 teams in terms of coordinators in the country? Who has better? Than these 2 teams?
All Ohio state has to do is not turn the ball over and they’ll win easily
Bro ND handled UGA. Their d is elite
ND 27-17😉
How does ND score 27? I'll wait
@ ok wait

No way OSU doesn't win and cover by twice the 9.5 in my view. 34 -- 14
27-10 Buckeyes

ND 24 - OSU 20. ND elite at forcing TOs
Delusional. Don't be a Homer. This is a horrible match up for ND
@Watermark61 bro people said Georgia was a horrible matchup for ND
@@andrewmueller9986they did not. Notre dame was favored in that game
OSU 38 ND 17. Not going to be close.

@@xolborg well hopefully the coaches learned not to let quarterback beat them for throwing less than 100 yards again. And maybe throw the ball too.
