GTS all the way. 😊 Broke my old List after returning to skyrim after a long while, due to all the updates and stuff... So idecided to just give a pre curated list a go and landed with Jay Serpa's Gate to Sovngarde and cant complain at all. ☺ Even added and changed a few things here and there to give a slightly more personal touch, but overall, this is a completely new experience, that one might wish would've been Skyrim from the get go.
@@tomigun5180 So I dont know what you mean with fake, but I played all to find the best to make a 100% run. xD And LoreRim is by far the best when you want 100% immersion. (Things like, eating animations, and stuff like this, for me this is the best one) Nolvus has millions of questmods, but no immersion, its more action than roleplay, many loveing this, I dont. @@locante1642 dayum, what did you do with it?^^ The update to 69 was absolutely smooth on my end, even with some additions, which were still there and active after the update, also no complaints about missing masters or something. But yeah it should be running smooth again, when you do a fresh install in a new profile and get rid of the old one, everything after 62 should still work with your saves.

Hi as a modder myself, you selected the 4 best modlists out there imo. Wundrunik is another very good list you should check out I am also a NOLVUS developper, so I would suggest to keep an eye on the V6, coming at the end of the year :)
Hi, first of all, thank you for your comment. I used Nolvus V5 for a long time and I was quite satisfied with it. Thanks to you and the other developers for all your efforts. I’m eagerly looking forward to V6. I’ll try it out and share my thoughts when it’s released :)) Best regards!
Yes. I am waiting for the release. It looks amazing and a ton of work. Great job to all of you that work on it. You changed the modding scene for Skyrim when Nolvus dropped.
Nolvus has a lot of high resolution textures. i mean if you look at the size of some mods you'll know it. I think for performance, textures should be just 1k for 1080p players like me. Pls use Bijin. I need them XD
The best modlist is the one you curate yourself. Using a list like Eldergleam or Nordic Souls as a base and then adding your own mods to it is the way to go if you're going to go the Wabbajack route. My problem with big lists that go crazy changing the gameplay is that the standard for what constitutes good balanced gameplay is highly debatable and you may end up disappointed after spending several hours downloading a list. Nolvus lacks challenge in my opinion, and while Lorerim is much more difficult, it adds difficulty in ways that I think feel tedious.
I highy recommend Nordic Souls. Feels like a good balance between easy and hard difficulties. You feel powerful, but can easily get destroyed by dragons. It doesn't change the game too much and is very performance friendly.
@@ess99_ I'm using Nordic Souls as a base for my current mod list. I've got the combat heavily modded for extra difficulty though. Its one of the most underrated wabbajack lists imo.
What do you find tedious in LoreRim? For me, making my self a modlist is so much work, because of this I love that there are modlists that take this away from me. But you 100% right, you cant add without difficulties Mods to such big Modlists, and that is annoying.
Ahh. The days of frustration where I had to download and reorder mods is over. I think lorerim will satisfy me. I'll probably download a couple additions though.
Cool. One thing to note if you download additional mods in Lorerim. Don't go asking the modlist author for help with those additions. He gets spammed constantly by people asking or demanding help for that kinda stuff. He's, as you might imagine, sick and tired of it. Especially since it's posted in big letters in the discord that he can't personally help with any of that. He even made a video on how to modify the list but of course people don't listen or look further than their noses for answers and still spam him so he's taken to just banning those that do. Asking the community for help is fine though. Lot of them also modify the list here and there or you can watch the video I mentioned before.
@spectralassassin6030 thanks for the heads up on the video. I could imagine how many requests that a popular mod list provider would get lol. Take care
@@spectralassassin6030 Ok, but that´s the case with most modlist authors and nothing special to Lorerim. A modlist has the advantage that you don´t have to work yourself through thousands of mods and make them work. It has the disadvantage that it can be hard to modify it any further. For the latter - you should know what you do, if not - don´t do it.
Capt.Panda recently stated that he is looking to develop a new 'Ultimate Edergleam' with the ability for players to activate or deactivate certain mods for personal taste. That is a massive undertaking and thanking him for doing this is the least we can do considering how it will start the way modlists are created for the future. Being able to select and tailor a modlist is on another level. As for the modlists you have showcased, I know JaySerpa is still developing Gate to Sovengard, Biggie_boss has just finished Lorerim and is looking to develop a new modlist, possibly including the AE Creation Club rather than downgrading to 1.5.97. They are all amazing and a ton of work. If you use, give a donation of what you can afford because it is so time consuming to get right.
Don't bother with them. Wait for the full release of Invicta. What I wish from modlists is a lite version that doesnt take up much space. 500GB is kinda crazy. Like 1k-2k textures at most
GtS uses less than 60gigs ins packed files and this translates to just over 130gig in full installation, also because most of it is just 2k, as this is made for ease of use, immersion and performance.
Today's standards. I wouldn't go around saying that too much. Anyway my older favorite was serenity 2. A shame it was given up on. Now i'm on Wildlander. It's nice enough for the moment.
The best modlist is one I painstakingly research and put together through trial and error and prioritization. No one else can give me everything I want out of the game.
im playing lorerim since a month myself and i absolutely love it. the only thing i miss is some more follower mods, and, well yes, i love to make my female characters look cute. and i dont mean 18+ stuff but just... well we all like a nice chick dont we XD
Mine. Fully customized and handpicked by myself, no base package. Skyrim looked terrible when it released. It was a big disappointment in that regard, especially on console.
Nolvus changes the base game too much for me. I do like the aesthetic and look, but you're really not playing Skyrim anymore. Lorerim gets closer, but they really cranked the difficulty. I kind of like Burnt Skyrim, it adds a lot of the visuals without touching gameplay too much and it runs on a Legion Go.
Check out Tempus Maledictum! It's a new quests based mod list focused on mods like Vigilant, Legacy of the Dragonborn, Timelost Dwemer, Project AHO, Bruma, and so many amazing mods. It's always my number one recommendation.
Gosh I hate AI voice narration, it's soulless and obviously fake. None of these overhauls "enhance Skyrim", they butcher it. Replacing the tundra around Whiterun with lush forests completely ruins the original intent and feeling. Replacing the award-winning soundtrack with "improved" music is akin to drawing over Van Gogh's 'Sunflowers' with crayons and claiming it "enhanced". The best Wabbajack modlist that I can recommend is 'Apostasy'. Even though it changes the music, at least it actually enhances the visual identity of Skyrim, instead of replacing it with some childish modders idea of enhancement.
