I'm 46 and have dry skin. If I am wearing the Kosas Tinted Oil I make sure to exfoliate really well the night before or morning of. I apply it with my fingers and then go over it with a brush to make sure it's really pushed into the skin. I don't use a wet sponge bc oil/water... I think it affects the look of the foundation. At first I can soo it clinging a bit to any dry patches, but as the day progresses, that kind of disappears. It's a very nurturing formula and my skin feels smoother, softer and very hydrated at the end of the day. I make sure to not use any products with silicone before application because I notice that it can pill up. I love the tinted face oil. I can't wait to buy the face powder. I swatched it yesterday at Sephora but have already spent my June makeup budget. LOL Next month is my birthday so I'm splurging on that, Armani Silk Canvass and CT Hyaluronic Happikiss in Crystal Happikiss.
LOVE LOVE LOVE how close up you did this video! I LOVE IT when makeup youtubers zoom us in. It’s just so much better seeing how everything applies on the skin. Sometimes it’s hard to tell bc of the lighting. Great video❤️
A rep for Kosas told me the trick to the serum foundation is to use your fingers to apply but to literally only use about 3 drops. I do that then use the beauty blender like you do!
I just got the deodorant and it’s insanely good. I still sweat a lot (it’s not an anti perspirant) but never smell bad. Anybody who is skeptical please give it a try. The only thing I would say is that the scented one has a really weird smell and as Julia said it competes even with perfumes.
Do you think deodorant is worth the money? I've been eyeing it for quite some time but I've read not so good reviews ... does it stop funky under-arm scents? Because I really sweat a lott
@@zaraskibola8807 personally I think it’s worth the money. Most deodorants just mask my BO but this one completely eliminates it. I think it’s at least worth a try to see if it does the same for you.
Okay so the unscented deo… I like it because it just makes me smell like nothing.. BUT right at first when you apply it might stink (I’m a sweaty stinky person) but once it dries I think it totally neutralizes the odor. I apply morning and night and works great for me. I can’t use the scented because I have super sensitive skin.
I loved this vid! Kosas is my favorite beauty brand ever, I discovered them early last year and have since tried every product they've ever made. I do have dry and acne prone skin and found the oil to cling to dry patches or healing zits, but it's working great for me now in Summer when my skin's more balanced. Overall I love Kosas SO much, they really defy logic with their formulas!! They manage to create products that no other brand could successfully make and it makes them such an exciting and easy to love brand.
Julia!! How does the cloud set powder compares to the CT airbrush powder in terms of blurring and setting? Some oilier skin girls said the kosas cloud set didn't rly help w setting and I'm rly curious on your thoughts!! ❤️
I think you’d like the 10 second shadow in Copper Halo. I’m not a fan of warm shadows on myself, but this one is so pretty. Gives a little extra glam with minimal effort.
I have extremely dry skin and that base is my absolute favorite! You are right though, it does cling to dry patches. So I am just sure to moisturize well before I put it on. But when I do put it on a moisturized face, I love the result! & it just gets better over time. It makes my skin so glowy and healthy looking - something that is super hard to achieve normally! Everything I have tried from Kosas thus far has been wonderful. Love the brand!
Hi Julia! I love Kosas as well, and was so excited to see this video. I love the face oil and I have normal to dry skin. I do prep my skin with a hydrating primer before I apply if I have any noticeable dryness on my face, or spray with a hydrating mist. On most days I just apply it over my sunscreen and I am good to go. I love the coverage I get with it looking flawless and feeling weightless. I too tried the deodorant and that was a miss for me. The concealer, powder and bronzers and my go to everyday products. Thanks for reminding me about Globe. I pulled mine out and beautiful! Thanks for the reminder. ❤️
Finally!!!! Been waiting for this video for weeks after you mentioned that you're going to do a full face of Kosas in one of your videos! Thank you for the honest review! Love your content always! 😭🤩❤️
Julia, I absolutely need you to try to ilia skin tint foundation!! It's been one of my favorites since I tried it and it wears so beautifully unlike any others! I bet you'd love it too!
I’ve become such a huge fan of Kosas, thanks in part to you. The powder, the eyeshadow, the brow cream, and the blush duo are all fantastic products that I use almost on a daily basis. The powder is really stellar. I have maturing skin and it just blurs it beautifully without covering any glow.
Do you use the high intensity blush duo? I'm finally giving in but unsure which one to go for! I also love the face oil, but less is definitely more! I agree exfoliating helps, but using a moisturizing base also helps with the texture for me. The combo of the oil + the powder from Kosas is absolutely insane...it's like an irl filter
I think the high intensity versions are more catered to those with darker/deeper skin tones. If you're on the lighter side, the regular versions are fine.
For any EU viewers (and others): there's currently a 20 % off makeup sale on Cult Beauty - they don't stock all of the Kosas products though. Was trying to talk myself out of getting the Revealer Concealer and Cloud Set but then this video was posted so I feel like it's a sign 🙈

I have the revealer concealer and the eyebrow pencil and I love them both. I just turned 51 and it’s the best concealer I’ve tried so far. It’s hydrating but still has coverage. I just ordered the cloud setting powder from Cult Beauty in their recent sale and I can’t wait to try it. 🥰
Dry skin here and Kosas Tinted oil is my favorite!!! BUT I exfoliate with something like babyfacial every week and I use oil for moisturizer. Most beautiful foundation ever!
Loving the fresh natural face look! I'm currently using the Kosas brow gel and love it. Also love Kosas blushes and that they do a light and dark version. Thanks for reminding me to use my cream blushes more before they expire.
I have dry skin & I do enjoy the tinted face oil. I always use a very hydrating & thicker moisturizer in the am & then use a smoothing primer & it always looks beautiful! Def try a moisturizering primer next time u use it & I think u will really enjoy it! Love watching u ❤💕♥💓💖
The eyebrow pencil looked great on you! Best thing about the Kosas brows is the color choices. I'm white and blond with graying hair and their brow gel is one of the only medium-to-light gray options I've found.
KOSAS is my favorite brand! I’m very dry and I find that a little goes a long way with the tinted face oil. If I use too much that’s when it clings to dry patches. I also apply with my hands and then go in with a beauty blender to melt it in 💗
Beautiful! Every time I see you use that lip oil, I feel like I need to buy it. It’s so pretty on you. The 10-second Eyecolor is so tempting, but in NYC humid Summers, I really need something that will stay. Maybe it would? Oh also I love your eyebrows. I think they look beautiful too. I guess I love all of this! Except I’m unsure about the base product. Your skin looks very pretty but I understand your hesitancy about the dry spots. Thanks for doing the full face! 🤎
The look turned out so good! I was so interested in Kosas when the tinted face oil came out but there wasn't (and looking at the website there still isn't) a shade for my skin tone. I never really gave the brand another look after that but maybe I should
You should give the 10 second eyeshadow in Fahrenheit a try, such a beautiful burgundy color, I use it as an eyeliner sometimes , alone , with brown eyeshadow , obviously black and brown eye liner and sometimes with the Chanel stylo yeux waterproof in 928 Eros. Those combos really make green eyes pop. ❤️ from 🇨🇷
Kosas has quickly become 1 of my favorite brands. So far I've loved everything I've tried. I have the concealer, cloud set powder, brow pop pencil & the clear air brow gel & I love all of them! The cloud set powder is like magic & the brow pop pencil is fantastic. My eyebrows are pretty sparse but now I can fill them in quicker, don't have to worry about them looking too overdone/harsh & the color is perfect. I have naturally dirty blonde hair but my eyebrows are darker so I've always struggled with finding a color that matches. Blonde is usually too light or warm, brown is too dark & unnatural looking but the Kosas soft brown is for dark blonde to light brown hair so it's a great match. Also the air brow gel helps to make my brows look more full/fluffy & I really like the size & shape of the spoolie.
Perfect timing! I just ordered their sample box from their site and can’t wait to try out some more of their products. I love their concealer but had to throw it out recently because it definitely expired.
So I’ve been using this Kosas oil foundation and it’s a learning curve! You will have much better results when your skin is healed from the breakouts and fully exfoliated first then let a good moisturizer sink in well before you use this -like night before or hours before. This foundation does not work on flaky dry patches or serums -will pill, and primers. The ONLY product that works well under is the Saie glow serum! The two are incredible and made for each other!! You also need a good amount of time to let this foundation dry down before using powder on it. I LOVE this foundation for the no makeup look when my skin is behaving. And yes the Kosas concealer works awesome over top should you need. I actually use the 05 colour on the perimeter of my face and my regular foundation in the middle of my face where I have redness, pores acne scars etc. the effect is more natural looking. I think this Kosas foundation is misunderstood and overlooked. Also I keep my Kosas products in the fridge for more longevity. I dedicate a whole veggie drawer for my makeup and skincare I want to keep fresher longer ;) hope these tips help!
I love the kosas face oil and i have dry to normal skin. It does definitely look better if i wear it after I've just exfoliated but that's kinda true for me with every foundation. My go to is actually mixing the kosas face oil with luminous silk, you should give that a whirl!

Hi I’m a new subscriber and I think you look beautiful. I have combo skin leaning more on the oily side. I’m surprised this foundation was a matte finish. I might give it a try.
Hey Julia :) I love your videos so much 😍 you are so creative and lovely :-) Ps: I do have a dry skin type and the kosas tint oil in fact sadly didn’t work out for me! But it looks stunning on you 😍 sending love from switzerland 😘
My Kosas face oil came with a feeling of grittiness! Like it literally feels like grains of sand mixed in. So I never got the chance to use it (this was before I found out your able to return/exchange opened makeup!) Edit: I really want the 10 second eye shadow. I’ve seen it applied a cpl diff. Ways & they’re both beautiful!
Lovely look 💗✨ I have combo/normal skin, somewhat sensitive, with some dry spots and texture issues. The Kosas face oil was terrible for me. I don’t understand how an oil can be so drying. It felt heavy on my skin and I couldn’t wait to wash it off. Was expecting a light coverage oil and that’s not what it is at all. It’s powdery and uncomfy
Just found you today and subscribed real quick. I was wondering what mua was for a good hour lol while I watched your videos. Anyway, just wanted to say I'm so happy to have found your channel, your tips are so helpful. If you noticed this, could you do like a remake of your smoky eyeliner video but with a chilled vibe, like Emma Watson's usual style? I have eyes shaped like yours and hers mixed and I have no idea what to do other than very thin liner and mascara. But I've always been interested in those brown smoky undereye with a little crease on the lid looks. Also, is it possible to create a look without brightening the eye area and then reshading the crease if I like a slightly shadowy look? I actually like my dark eye area but I haven't seen anyone who loves theirs, so just wondering.

The Kosas Tinted Oil with the Glossier Future Dew underneath is *chefs kiss*. Unless you hate glow, but I have oily skin and I still want all of it.
Hi I’m a new subscriber and I think you look beautiful. I have combo skin leaning more on the oily side. I’m surprised this foundation was a matte finish. I might give it a try.
Hey Julia :) I love your videos so much 😍 you are so creative and lovely :-)
Ps: I do have a dry skin type and the kosas tint oil in fact sadly didn’t work out for me! But it looks stunning on you 😍
sending love from switzerland 😘
You should do a full face of Patrick ta !! Including the new eye shadow palette ❤️❤️❤️
I love those fluffed up brows!
What is the brand and name of your nail polish!? Love! 💚
This look was made for you!!! Classic, stunning summer beauty! ☀️☀️☀️
New subbie here! I find that the kosas oil emphasizes my dry spots as well. Such a bummer. Have you tried the tinted bb drops from Haley’s beauty?!
You should try the ilia serum skin tint! Sooo good for dry skin!
I wish kosas was more affordable, the tinted face oil is £40 here which is stupidly expensive
200 brl for me, so it's too risky to buy their foundation having a combo skin. But I'd like to test everything else
their pricing is insane! Plus, you have to spend even more replacing the products because of their quicker expiration
Can you let us know what nail polish you're wearing in your description? 😍 I always love the colors you pick!
julia makes me want alll the makeup
My Kosas face oil came with a feeling of grittiness! Like it literally feels like grains of sand mixed in. So I never got the chance to use it (this was before I found out your able to return/exchange opened makeup!)
Edit: I really want the 10 second eye shadow. I’ve seen it applied a cpl diff. Ways & they’re both beautiful!
The look turned out so so good
Yayyy I've been waiting for this video💃💃💃💃💃
Lovely look 💗✨
I have combo/normal skin, somewhat sensitive, with some dry spots and texture issues. The Kosas face oil was terrible for me. I don’t understand how an oil can be so drying. It felt heavy on my skin and I couldn’t wait to wash it off. Was expecting a light coverage oil and that’s not what it is at all. It’s powdery and uncomfy
Also yes. Smells like oil paint.
I am from Brazil. I love you so much 🇧🇷❤️
What’s the name of the nail polish? It’s super cute
The Kosas 10sec eyeshadow has quickly become my go to in the mornings!
I’m a new subscriber and have been loving your videos! 🥰🥰🥰
