Both of them seem to be jumping to conclusions to support innocence or guilt. I'm more prone towards agreeing with Woody in general principle, the only detractor being the supposed legal investigation. If law enforcement was *actually* involved and didn't find anything sus then I'd lean more towards Kyle on the "just morally bleh" judgement.
I believe he was clear when he stated, "no criminal charges have ever been brought against me." I'm quite sure that in these cases (possible pdf files), law enforcement is always involved.
There's a statute of limitations and twitch didn't ban him/discover this shit until 3 years after the fact. There may have been no legal standing to press charges.

What really stood out to me was the fact that not ONCE in his tweet did he try to claim he cut his convo off or made any effort to block said minor. Even after acknowledging it was reaching really questionable levels. He simply said there was "no intent". But if there was no intent, then why is a married, grown-ass man indulging in said convo to begin with? Especially after he was caught cheating earlier and claimed to be sorry. The only reason it stopped and is "sorry" is because he was *caught* and it's now public.
That doesn't really track with the timeline though.
The conversations happened in 2017 and he wasn't caught/banned by twitch until 2020. Now, four years after THAT, the truth is coming out.
If they were just conversations that didn't go anywhere, then he didn't get caught until three years later, that suggests he didn't act on them and likely cut the conversations off himself, which he implies on his explanation tweet.
However, the real wrench in the whole thing is... 2017 is when he admitted publicly to cheating on his wife... With someone at twitchcon. So the question is, was that person the minor, or someone else?
As usual, we won't actually know the severity of any of this until the logs are released, which may never happen.
