Not only does it get your camp cool furniture, some of the best outfits in the game, some of the best gun belts, holsters, and bandoliers, the best saddles and satchels, but you get to experience nature in a near profound way. It’s literally like a Nat Geo documentary. You can watch these animals interact with themselves and each other. It’s amazing.

I’ll never forget a wife and husband arguing in the street. I followed them and they went around the back of the house so they was away from the kids! One of the kids started talking to his sister, saying “ they’ll figure it out Mary-Jane “ .. a few days passes and I went back to the house and the kids were gone and the husband was sat on the porch smoking and talking to himself. I went back a few days after and the house was abandoned and some bank workers and a construction guy were outside the house and the banker said that the sheriff needs to be informed. I assume the husband killed himself or just left home 😢 he might of started a new life or moved in with his estranged wife and kids! Who knows! I couldn’t interact with the Husband NPC. @@labret2 Well, you know, we all have different tastes and barometers of things, none of us is exactly the same, but for every 50-75 people that would call this a masterpiece, there is maybe 2 or 3 who don't...then, that is a pretty good argument for the prevailing opinion. Just curious about what game would you consider a masterpiece, console, or PC, wise ?...or do you just troll these YT shorts for a hobby ?
@@labret2Name ten games that are better.
@@john8314name 50 books
One of my all time favorites. Never understood why they never did any story dlc and just abanded the game. Its such a masterpiece.
I just wish they would give 60 fps on console at the very least
@@fudgemcdoogal6116 forsure. Maybe one day
I'm guessing it's because they're making sooooo much money with GTA Online. RDR1 & RDR2 didn't even get the proper Remasters they deserve because GTA and now that they're working on GTA6, we the fans of RDR can forget about future DLC's, updates and all that good stuff. I know it's a darn shame!!
They just updated rdr2 online about a week ago
You answered your own question. Its a masterpiece.
The walking on ice is pretty damn cool. How Arthur starts to slip around as he walks.
Arthur was such an MVP. Miss him
Completed red dead 1 in its entirety including undead nightmare.
I lost touch with gaming a but now I intend to start RDR2 very soon. Completely fresh to it.
I'm in the same boat as you, my friend. Completed RD1 & undead nightmare. I'm playing RDR2 at the moment (never finished it years ago & I forgot a lot of what I did so I started a new playthrough on my PC) and it's such an amazing game. You'll be left speechless after some of the events that take place. One of the best games of all time, no doubt about it. I woke up this morning, a few hours before work, just so I can play some. 😅 I haven't done that with a video game in YEARS. 😂
My guy you are gonna gwt blown away its such a good game bro
Boy u r n for a wild ride u think rdr raw jus wait till u play online I’m a new player to it n sumtyme it’s so much stuff todo I dnt kno what to do I suggest u get start 🦾🫡
Prepare for heart break and ball ache
I wish I could get feeling again. Enjoy man.
I once saw a eagle swoop down and grab a snake off the ground
"Dont Cry I Am Just A Fish"
Him being able to grow his hair back after cutting is a great feature as well
18 fucking bears and not one time it occurred to me to just stay still. This game is amazing
Nah it’s the horse balls shrinking
Wrong.
Completed story once now playing again but now focusing more on the free roaming.
Save some gold locations for John this time.
Also part 2 is great for free roaming. Hang out, enjoy all the side quests & you can get a bunch of stuff done
Will be sure to check that, just robbed the bank in strawberry so enjoying a spend up on weapons, clothing, etc, and side missions trying to hold to Arthur for a while lol if only there was another way.
Me looking at old as Metro 2033 librarians
I died so many times before I found out you can stare them down.
I got PTSD from that shit
Bong hits on gta5 enters the chat
Looks like I’m jumping back into rdr2 for the 5th time 😅
the most epic thing i have seen is a bear fighting a group of wolves
That game is and always will be a masterpiece.
The Bear bluff Charged. Its a real thing. That Detail really ist Mind boggling wow.
Bro has Conqueror's haki
Lol
I like the idea of a old Arthur living his days in the north
After playing 5 years of red dead redemption 2 it was time to go home
Home, or at least it was befure Dutch fucked everything up
At some point AI tools will help us create these extremely detailed events. Then we will look back at this game and remember that each event was fully made by humans.
And then they abandoned it and now you can’t play in first person online without massive glitches. Also you still run backwards when holding forwards
Because they don’t make enough money off it they are focused on gta5 and 6
@BurnOutGaming76irrelevant. They made an online and charged for it and then abandoned it.
@BurnOutGaming76 You really think Rockstar paid developers to just make a "free experience" for nothing?
If the online mode was as successful as GTA 5's, they would've made dlc for it.
They did make DLC for RDR2 online game, lots of it. What are you talking about?
@@madsandreassen5441 they made a small amount which required in app purchases to properly enjoy it without hours of grinding.
I randomly came accross a whitetail buck whose antlers got stuck to another bucks antlers after they fought (I’m assuming?) but one had died and it struggled to get free from the dead one. He got out eventually but that level of detail is INSANE. 👌
So good! I think the fishing is also amazing.
Just recently started playing and it’s an amazing game, honestly such heavy props to the team that worked on this, yall are goated
If you smoke when a bear charges you, it wont attack
If you stand still don’t move it won’t attack
Coldest moment😮
Feel like the life of a trapper would be a good one, harsh but imagine living ya life like that
And they still haven't added ponchos as a cosmetic into the main story...
LITERALLY UNPLAYABLE because of this. I wish I didn't care as much about that as I do, but damn. No ponchos in a western. And don't get me started on the multiplayer "ponchos"
U can craft them from the trapper with legendary animal pelts
@@warrenpowers96 there's a difference between a poncho and a cloak
The more impressive and realistic fact is that this doesn’t work all the time
Man I play this game on and off from time to time , and everytime i play it i always encounter something new , greatest game ever
Holy shit how is Red Dead Redemption 2 already five years old? I thought it was like three years old. Man, time flies...
In 2026 it will be as old as the first red dead was when it came out
*seriously* 😕
That's the best feature.? Questionable.
I'm sure many games have used this, primal fear, horizon zero dawn, and others.
Anyways this game is a masterpiece
One of the things that it does much better than other games is giving players fuckin depression. Red Dead Depression.
That bear just rips me apart he never stops like that for me
It would be easy for any other game developers to recreate that EXACT same effect
Only works irl id the bear was threatened by u .. if it was a mommy bear protecting her cubs .. or angery as fuck and just wanna eat meat .. haha .. u done ._.
Where is this greatest feature again?
I'm guessing that it's because he didn't show fear to a grizzly and it backed off.
That's not how grizzlys work lol
@@Reverendshot777 That's incorrect. In reality you must spread your legs lift your arms to look larger and shout as hard as you can to scare it, or you can lay down and play dead, can't escape by climbing a tree, can't outrun it and definitely can't survive sitting like a duck doing nothing. Rdr2 has a lot of cool realistic features this aint one of them
@hollatoyou1855 That's black bears my dude. If a grizzly attacks the advice is to lay down on your stomach, spread your legs and play dead. Basically kiss your ass goodbye and hope it doesn't find you tasty or a threat.
Wish we can give people the bird like in gtv 😂
Haha 😂 right.
Ghost of tsushima looks and plays incredible
This is why i highly recommend people should hunt. Do the all the challenges and camp crafting.
Finished it countless times and STILL playing it. It's part of me now
I agree, but I believe you can also smoke in the original Metal Gear Solid
This Game Is The Reason Im Excited For GTA 6
I love that grizzlies will false charge but a deer or moose will run you over out of nowhere because an npc got to close to them up the way lol
Welcome to "WestWorld"
The trumpet player in Saint Denis and Javier’s guitar playing at Horseshoe Overlook hit home for me. First play through I missed a lot and now I’m taking my sweet time before I collect from Mr. Thomas Downes. I might not ever collect that debt…
I’ve never had such full filled experience of playin a game as I did with this game ,just lost in it for days months and years and was never bored, even goin around doin nothing sight seen I loved 💚💚
Wait till Joe Rogan finds this out
This is what happens you create a game with love and release it when its ready.
And here i thought we were getting the water moving under the ice sound
"I ain't scared I'm already dead" would have been a great late game line for Arthur.
Would have been cooler if he pulled out a smoke rather than the revolver when the bear got close 😂
Such a perfect game I started my 4th play through a couple days ago and I’m still seeing things I never saw before
me: smoking?
me: bears?
me: OH SHI-
I’ve been back into red dead and it’s beautiful and like no other game. I seriously can’t wait to see what they have for us in gta 6
Imagine the bear just didn't stop.
Truly one of the moments in red dead redemption history!!
Was playing today and watched an Elk see a Wolf off. Thought it was a bear, but followed and saw the Elk. The wolf walked backwards and fooked off.
At this very frozen lake, sometimes this bear fights a fox as well, and kills it in a single flash
There are so many details that make this game a GOAT.
“This flat back doing that dance” priceless!!
Black Myth Wukong has a boss fight where if you stand your ground, the boss actually stops charging and stands pacing like a boxing match.
Damn bro you hyped it up like it was some earth shattering thing 💀
The level of detail is just insane
The fact Rockstar put this much detail into random NPCs 😅
Ive tried this before, it very rarely works😂😂
