    Bro i need your help. I have an Audi A4 B7 Avant 2007 and here is something in the interior which make me a little bit mad. That is the phone cradle on the center console. Could you told me a way in which i can remove it? Thank you so much! You do amazing videos bro!

      Hey there! Yes, a lot of people don't like them. Unfortunately when you remove it there is a hole in the centre console where the wire passes through. You'd need to get a new (or used!) replacement centre console that does not have the phone fitted.

    I looked at a Petrol 2010 BMW 120i Coupe recently with under 30,000km. I believe it has the latest 1 series motor, any issues with the timing chains or seals in those? Im not a fan of electronics or plastics in cars these days...

    What about using zip tie instead of the o ring? I cannot imagine zip tie rattling?

    Do you know where I could find that o ring piece? Or if I were to a buy a new shift boot would one come with it?

      Best option is likely an Audi dealer. They should be pretty cheap. May also be worth looking on eBay beforehand as well. These types of straps are used in various places around the car, for example large versions on the CV gaitors. You just need a very small version - eBay may be a good bet! Don't be tempted to use jubilee clips though - they can rattle really badly!!

    Does that O-ring have to be replaced once taking it off?

    • @TotalTechnik
      @TotalTechnik  4 года назад

      Yes it does. They are generally not recoverable and so need to be replaced with new. Don't try the jubilee clip shortcut though - that one caused us a lot of hassle once searching for a mystery rattle!!
