- Amber pleads with Rick to tell her the truth about why he wants to call off the engagement. Rick breaks down and informs his mother he saw Amber and Deacon kissing. Brooke warns Amber to stay away from Rick. Taylor lunges at Morgan, but is unable to escape the chains that bind her. Morgan claims it was Taylor’s action that drove her to this madness.

Rick, rule of thumb: if you’re making Brooke happy, you’re doing something wrong.
I understand Rick had a right to be upset after seeing Amber and Deacon kissing, but after the way he disavowed little Eric by calling him little Deacon, I would never have gone back to him again if I was Amber. What a little twat.
Rick never really loved Amber.
Best example is Kimberly Fairchild.
When there is a girl who does please Rick better Amber is forgotten really fast.
Rick really broke up with Amber over the phone at his mommy’s house. 🙄 The idea that both of them would not confront each other on these kisses demonstrates how superficial and immature this relarionship (and storyline) is.
That alone would make him undesirable to me
CJ was better off without Amber and Amber is better off with Deacon.

Why would Charlie be so annoyed about Amber unless he wants Rick himself 😂 I don’t know any male friend that would get so worked up that his “bestie” had a girlfriend enough to violate his privacy and photograph him with a girl.
Plus i don't think the show ever showed Rick confront Charlie about his involvement in Brooke's plan and Rick had to wonder if Amanda knew about the plan too.
I don’t know what’s more annoying, Morgan actually condemning Taylor for not being ok with her getting pregnant by her husband, Taylor actually AGREEING that she could have been more understanding, or Brooke ready to crucify Amber for doing the same thing she wanted Ric to do. I don’t know many best friends that would be THAT forgiving.

What I cannot get, are her tactics. She did something she literally accused Eric and Ridge of doing to her that she called heartless and cruel, and is now standing there in her pearls and mommy updo like she had no part to play in anything and is as shocked as can be...

On a musical note, the background score starting at 18:20 and continuing through the end of the show goes back to 1988. They usually don’t play this far into it anymore. During season 2 the full score played when Donna confronted Brooke in the front yard of the Logan house about Stephen being alive. Bold should integrate these old scores from time to time!
They should release this score, and more from this era, they have great soundtrack back then...
This was a particularly frustrating episode! But…that’s good entertainment I suppose…

Rick was playing a game that evolved kisses and Brooke think it was something more but it wasn't. Rick is in love with Amber. Amber and Rick break up will be short-lived because Amber and Rick is going to find out what Brooke did.
It's so crazy for me watching these old episodes that I haven't seen in years, I was literally only in my early 20's when they first aired! I certainly can see why I was so in love with Bad Boy Deacon (Sean Kanan)!!! He was definitely 🔥!!! He's still good-looking to me today, too! ❤

You automatically loss when you start slutshaming her. Brooke has every ryt to protect her son and wealth from possible gold diggers.
What is it with soap characters and not directly addressing the issue at hand?Amber could have very easily brought up the photos of Rick and Amanda while talking to Rick. In turn, Rick could have easily brought up the kiss with Deacon. The lack of directness is clearly meant to create high drama. But really it just creates high frustration. This is a really overused narrative technique in B&B's writing, and it's usage has got more absurd and non-sensical over time.

This is so dumb neither one of them is saying what the problem is. I mean, that’s all about you know communicating grown-up stuff you know or just be beating around the bush. Tell him tell her what the problem is dumb line whoever did this.
